I have used it several times for registered mail and they red ink stamp it all around the tape with no problem. **Q: Is the glue soy based?** A: No idea. All I know is that it works great. Who gives a crap if it is soy based? **Q: Can this tape stick to plastic?** A: I’m not sure because I haven’t tried sticking it to plastic. My guess is that it will stick to some plastics but not all kinds of plastic.
