It is a great series of exercises and songs for those who are moving from beginning to later beginning.The crossword puzzle in the back is wonderful for double-checking terms and the music games contained enhance the student's aural skills.This is a great supplemental book to assess not only student ability but also accidentally spot any holes in the teaching curriculum.This book is best used with lessons or guided practice.
