Forever Painless
this book was recommended to me from a good friend. I'm interested in yoga and such so I thought these stretching exercises would be great for loosening up.

Exercising without pain
This book is exactly as described. Since I just started using it I can’t yet say that it’s a life-changer, but based on what Miranda Edmonds-White writes, I am optimistic that it will make a big difference. For seniors movement is key, but it’s knowing what to do so you don’t make things worse. That’s the first important step.

I love it.
An excellent read- the explanations for this type of exercise regime are clearly written and illustrated. The book is enough on its own but I did buy two of her tapes as well and I enjoy following along as Miranda takes us through these gentle movements. This system really does work and the effects are felt from the first workout.. There is no need to purchase any equipment to be able to enjoy all of the benefits of these methods but if you do go further you can use a yoga mat and a few other inexpensive aids.

Effective Drug-Free Pain Reduction....For Us At Least.
Excellent book on how to stay painless. My wife and I follow the various regimens faithfully, It is amazing what the various exercises have done for both of us, especially my wife with her arthritic knee and lower back. For myself, it keeps me supple and prevents my bad joints from freezing up. The book is somewhat pricey but then the savings on drugs quickly pay for the book. I highly recommend this book.

Recommended her program to others and they too had similarly ...
Have been working with her program on PBS (Classical Stretch) - have never had such quick and profound results in muscle toning, balance, and overall well-being from an exercise program. Recommended her program to others and they too had similarly incredible results. The first half of the book gives the theory and research that supports her approach - strengthening and stretching at the same time, utilizing full-body movements and body weight. The second half has the exercises. Highly recommend her book not just for alleviation of pain but for improving tone, strength, flexibility, and energy.

Real help for old, and new, injuries
Miranda's Essentrics style exercise is real! She knows the body, constantly referring to how and why to move in the prescribed way, how it will effect your muscles and joints. After following this program for a short time I realized I was doing physical therapy for my whole body as my pains and stiffness really did go away! One does have to keep it up because after a week or so of not doing these exercises I was in pain again, though not as bad. If I can exercise 4 times a week, I'm pain free.
