Perfect for custom wiring projects
I used x7 of these to build a modular 3D printer electronics box with quick disconnects. It worked fantastic. I had NO issues with overheating the plastic insulator or anything like that and I soldered at least 90 pins total. The male connector is a bit more difficult than the female connector to line up the wires, but its quite doable.I considered docking a point due to the fact that one male connector came with a stripped retainer screw, it screws into the plastic body and doesn't have great tolerances or threads. I stripped a second one on accident and while its functional, it sort of sucked to have to swap around connectors and such. For 10x connectors at this price point, its still a great deal and easy to overlook.Fitment is standard, make sure you have enough exposed thread, I had to ditch the lock washer ring cause I made my panels a bit thick.Pro tip: Use a large binder clip to hold the female end while soldering and a medium binder clip for the male end. If you have helping hands (highly recommended, these are difficult enough as is) it makes it even easier to hold the clip in position.

Good quality. Matches Optima Op-901B load cells and panel
This GX16-5 5 pin 16mm connector fits the Optima OP-901B Scale and load cell. It probably fits most of Optima scales and load cells but I only have the OP-901B to confirm.

Solid connection
Bought these on accident thinking that they were butt connectors but still worked for what I needed. They're extremely hefty and provide a solid connection for my cables. Ten is a bit more than I need, but better to have more then less.If any of the cable clamps seem to be missing the screws, take everything out of the bag first and shake all the parts. My missing screws had rattlers loose during shipping and were in other panel connectors.

works fine in my electronic project. good quality for the price

Seem ok $1ea plug
These seem ok. They aren't heavy duty at all, but for my needs, which will be plug in once and leaving them for months if not years at a time, they will probably be fine. For daily plugging and unlugging, or something in need of strong strain relief, I would look elsewhere.

No issues, worked as expected
These connectors were utilized in a sheet metal enclosure. Used a step drill bit to make the hole and they worked as expected. The only negative would be the "lock washer" which is relatively wimpy and probably close to pointless. We used some loctite to ensure the nut would not back off but for the price they were above our expectations. Easy to solder to and locked as expected.

Very impressed - trying match
I was trying to match another GX 16 connector, and these mated to the other one perfect. I still don’t know how they’re able to manufacture them for the price that they’re sold.

very shallow threads that strip easily
wasn't expecting pro quality but these have very shallow threads on the panel fitting that does not allow for much tightening. I had to epoxy it into enclosure to make a reliable connection.
