SainSonic Digital Handheld Temperature GM300 Infrared Thermometer Gun w/Laser Sight

I purchased this product because I wanted to see if my motorcycle temp gauge was reading properly as it was indicating temperatures well beyond the red line.So I ordered the product, went for a ride and got my bike all nice and up to temp, and then busted this baby out to see what the readings were.(after installing the battery) I was impressed right off the bat - that is, to turn it on all you have to do is squeeze the trigger and if you leave it on it shuts off after 15 - 20 seconds.I took my temperature with the Gm300 and this helped me diagnose that my gauge was indeed faulty. I first thought it might not be able to read a temperature that high but it CLEARLY states on the side of the product that it can handle up to 700* F!! Enough for any job i'd ever need it for!I even shined it in my bonfire to and sure enough i was getting readings of 730* F.I'm doing 4 stars because it uses a freakin 9 volt battery and I just... i just HATE those things! AA batteries please!My favorite part is that when you let go of the trigger it "locks" the temperature on the screen so that you can record it if necessary.Another heck of a bonus is that you can turn the screen back light on and off AND you can control the laser pointer on and off too!What really takes the cake is it remembers if you left the laser off or if you left the screen off so you don't have to set it every-time.It looks like they did their homework against their competitors and they should be proud of the robust product they have engineered!

Excellent tool for around the pool and the house. Handy for know the water temperature in the pool or in the kitchen. Also useful for the BBQ grill. Store it out of direct sun.

I work in a food service environment and we usually temp our food with a probe thermometer. It would take such a long time to do that we would put it off or forget to do it at times. I bought this to alleviate the time consumption and it did just that. It is fast and accurate and I am thoroughly pleased with it.

Not a precision instrument but it serves the general purpose and it is a great value for the money... OK

For the money I thought this was well worth the price it is very accurate durable and reliable and you cannot beat that.

Digital thermometer works great. I used it to find where the insulation in my house was lacking, and it works great!

It is working very well and easy to operate.
