Digital Optical Audio Switcher 4 in 1 Out Switch

I needed to expand my receiver optical audio input. I can easily select two inputs to one input on the receiver. Works as expected. Switch is very well constructed.

Even though this unit had no reviews, I took a chance with it as I liked the ergonomics of the unit best of all the options available. It is small and compact and does the job. Only real issues is 1) the remote with mine does not work (yes, I pulled out the plastic tab to protect the battery). Guess I'll get a new battery to try as I like the unit. 2) the manual channel switch button on the unit can be a little sensitive and skip a channel when trying to get to the one you want.Only had it a few days so we'll see if "break-in" and a new battery solves my issues.

Plug and play for the most part with a small form factor and solid build. Problems seem to crop up at higher bit rates with 96khz having intermittent signal loss at times. Getting 96khz to work sometimes requires the device to have the inputs switched a few times and it will pick up. Now before you break out the pitchforks and torches I am using end to end support for 24/192khz (XDA-1) and I have no problems with playback without the switch inplace. With that said if all you are looking for is basic audio profiles it has no trouble at all and has greatly simplified my setup allowing me to unify all my sources to optical. My final gripe is the the led brightness both on the unit and power brick being very bright out of the box. But this is minor quibble that is easy to fix but for anyone looking for blackout for films will need to to tape over the leds.

Received it in one day. Setup was done in minutes. All 4 audio devices worked without any problems. Remote worked for all ports. All is good.

My setup for my Game consoles are pretty complicate and this is a major piece to my setup. I use a toslink cable attached to each system (PS4, PS3, XBOX One, and XBOX 360) to the Ozvavzk Digital Optical Audio Switcher. From the Ozvavzk Digital Optical Audio Switcher, it goes out to a1Mii B03 Long Range Bluetooth Transmitter, which is paired to a Bluetooth headset. The sound quality is great you hear everything and can play it pretty loudly without disturbing your family. I'm sure others can use this switcher for other things like all your console to your entertainment center. Your only limitation would be the available toslink output on your devices (If you have one or not).

The remote is pretty iffy. When it works it works fine. Sometimes you have to hit the button a bunch of times before it works correctly.

I purchased this as my Surround Sound receiver only has one SPDIF input whereas I have 4 devices that output. I wanted an easy way to switch between sound sources without having to physically get up and change the cables around and this more than gets the job done. The remote allows source switching without having to even move! Sound comes through perfectly and is not degraded in any way! Great item!

Previously I had purchased a cheap chinese knock off branded audio swapper to use with my PS4/PS3/TV which was killed from a slight voltage spike due to what I assume are cheap voltage regulators and other issues. This unit is sturdy and built like a brick house so I hope I will be able to use it for many many months/years to come. 10/10 would highly recommend.
