Lonely Planet Berlin 11 (Travel Guide)

I got it as a gift for someone who will be going to Berlin when the quarantine ends. He was delighted with it.

Used this for a visit to Berlin in June 2019 and found this an excellent guide. Sensibly organised with useful information provided on sites, attractions, places to eat etc. it helped us enormously in planning our trip both before and during it. Only two things prevent a 5 star review-> being a "traveller of a certain age" (ie in my 50s) the text is a little small to read properly without reading glasses. However whilst this was slightly annoying larger text would have made for an unwieldy book so this is an impossible circle to square. It's only really an issue if you have a thing about smallish fonts.> there is no decent sized map of the S / U - bahn network. However decent sized maps are easy to pick up in Berlin (we got one in our hotel reception) so this isn't that big a dealNeither of these things prevents my wholehearted endorsement of the content of this guidebook

Bought this for a friend who’s moving over to Berlin as a birthday present and it went down a treat this city map attached Inside is a great little extra. Safe to say the guide book works and it’s not just classic touristy items, she loved learning about the (not so) secret places to go to avoid too much foot traffic. Shipping was great too, item came super fast.

This guidebook was perfect to put in my rucksack and provided all the basic necessary information needed. Ticked all the boxes for us when we were in Berlin.
