I've bought the more common sort of felt pads for furniture legs, the sort that you have to stick on, and these are definitely easier to use, and most effective in doing their job which is to keep furniture from scratching wood floors. I used this set of 'feet' for 6 antique dining chairs with round legs which I MEASURED to be sure to order the right diameter caps. They slid on fairly easily and were snug enough so that they won't come off by accident. The felt pads are thick enough to protect the hardwood floors and allow the chairs to slide easily (with or without occupant).

My engineered hardwood was really taking a beating from chairs. I was getting soooo many scratches from grandkids dragging their bar stools across the floor. The bar stools legs are at an angle at the bottom, so I had some concern that these would even work. However, because of the open cut design, they fit a variety of leg sizes. That being said, because they open cut, they also don't stay on that well if you are moving the chair around alot. But, they are easy to put back on and it sure beats getting scratches on the floor. They have saved my floors from further damage. So, I am happy about that.

I bought these to put on the dining chairs on my porch. They slip on easily but stay in place. My concrete floor was having the paint scraped off from moving the chair but not any more. These have solved my problem. These are so much cheaper and easier than repainting the floor.

I bought two different brands of basically the same item. This one doesn't have a hole like the other. I used them on the same chair, rear legs, one brand on each. I found them easy to install, very ugly, fit pretty well on my rectangular metal legs.They were installed for about 2 months, used about 2x a week on hardwood floors. I did not find any damage to the floor. They did not come off, as well as the thin padding remained in place. My only negative comment is that this brand did not seem to last as long as the other brand. as you can see in the photo, it appears to be worn down. I feel maybe they have slightly thinner padding than the other brand.However, i can recommend them.

This is a very well designed product. Works great with my patio furniture and protect against any rusty surfaces against the ceramic tiles.

We have the article svelti dining chairs and the bottoms wore off long ago. We tried felt stickers on the bottom, which wouldn't stay put on the legs that were missing their feet (essentially just the hollow metal of the leg left). Had a hard time finding the right diameter feet to cover them but these are perfect. They do pop off once in a while but they're easy to put back on.

This doesn't fit snug on my barstool chairs but they have stayed put well enough. I have kids using the stools and they seem to hold up well. I just ordered another set because I want to have back up if one is worn down or needs replacing. I cannot find anything smaller than this on amazon and who goes to the store anymore?

These are exactly as described. Make sure you measure to order the correct size for your chair legs. They fit perfect.

Put them under our chairs which were pretty heavy and they make moving them (to sit and stand) a breeze. Also provides scratch protection (my floor is vinyl). Love these.

These fit our narrow chair legs well, I had ordered some stretchy silicone type ones previously that did not work at all. These seem to stay in place well, a few reviews talk about the thin layer of felt on bottom, and I'd agree. Guess we will see how they hold up. But for now, they are sliding nicely and not marking up my floor = perfect! Plus I only have 4 chairs so there are extras in the package to swap out if I need to.
