Effective and good value blackout blind
This is the cheapest blackout blind I could find and it's great. It was easy to put up though I did use my own screws as it comes with annoying torx head screws.I ordered it in white and it blocks out all the light, although the instructions recommend putting it up with the coloured side facing outwards otherwise more light comes in at the sides. This means the side facing inside is light grey but it doesn't bother me.Bear in mind that for it to truly block the light out, you do need a really good fit right up the edges of the windows. Unfortunately, my window is a strange size so there's a couple of cm gap each side which means light is still let in. However, I also have blackout curtains and the combination of this blind with the curtains means it stays pretty dark in the room. I could have ordered a slightly wider sized blind and cut it to size but I couldn't be bothered!

Great blinds - Cheap price
I had to do some adjustments to get this to fit my window exactly - instructions are easy to follow and the blinds are very high quality. Making adjustments were not too hard either. The blinds are good at blocking sunlight and look very clean in a room.

Nice blind but make sure you have your own screws.
I bought it for my studio so I decided to go for a used one sold via Amazon. I paint and draw with charcoal and knew I'd get it dirty in no time so I thought why waste money (I do not care if it's not perfect). I actually got a very nice clean blind, the only thing was the packaging was slightly broken.Unfortunately, despite my previous inquiry with Amazon, the warehouse team did NOT check if all the parts were in it. See these blinds require this one small "guber" thingy, a part that at the very end secures the mechanism from falling out. Tiny piece, but rather important, and my package didn't have it... ups!. I didn't want to go through the fuss of returning the item so I first went looking for a replacement kit and here's another important thing to know. The pole is constructed in a way that in cross section it's not round (it has an extra indent) and that makes it impossible to use any other mechanism than Debel's. In the end I figured out I could use a white cable tie to secure the pole. You can't see it but it prevents the pole from falling out after you've secured it.Also we had to use different screws. Whoever designed the plastic parts that hold the blind was smart. They designed it so that you can put the screws in (leaving the plastic part out), then slide the plastic part over the screws' heads sideways and then tighten the screws. Sadly whoever put the screws in the kit wasn't so smart and provided screws with huge heads that make the very smart design useless unless you get your own screws. This is probably why so many people have complained of how easy it is to break the plastic part. I can imagine it would be if you put the screws in while holding the plastic part at the same time - one slip of a hand and that's it.The mechanism that rolls and unrolls the blind is also a bit stiff so you have to be very careful (mainly when pulling the blind up, going down it seems easier).

Proper black out, great quality and amazing value!
Product itself is very good quality. Definitely use your own screws though as the ones supplied are a star head kind and poor quality. Could'nt figure out from instructions how to cut it to size. The cutting itself is very easy with a hacksaw and scissors but the measuring to cut it etc a bit tricky from instructions given. Overall a very good product once its up! Iam am delighted and looks amazing!

Inexpensive product that does the job.
I bought this blind to put up in my bedroom window, as the curtains simply aren't enough to keep out the light on summer mornings. Very happy with the product, as it came as described and was easy to install. I bought the 160cm on, which was 2cm smaller than the full window width, but does cover the glazing and does a great job of blocking out the light. To install, my partner and I held up the blind to determine placement, then marked the bracket holes on one side with a pencil. We installed the brackets above the windows. We then used 5.5mm drill bits to carefully drill some small holes, inserted the plugs and then fixed the bracket. We then held up the curtain again so to be sure we marked the bracket on the other side in the correct place. Once we had installed that bracket, it was super easy to click the blind in place. The item also comes with a tidy for the chain, which we installed lower on the window frame.Overall would definitely recommend this product, as the room is now nice and dark in the morning (with the blind and previously installed curtain). You could install with just one person, but I would recommend two for ease and to ensure correct placement.

not the best fixings but strong metal pole
well, the price is good. the pole is sturdy metal.i ordered this as it stated 200cm size in colour i wanted. had to cut it down as it was 220 to be fair it was easily cut to size.the problem i found is the plastic fixings for ends are to large. Had to give it a few real bashes to get them in and snapped a bit off ( nothing functional ). will need some fabric glue for side as it frays when cut. The wind crank is stiff but works. How long it will last with the plastic crank is debatable will probably need to replace it with something sturdy.

Excellent product, was surprised actually
Excellent product, was surprised actually. Very easy to fit.*tip* there is a small wedge like bit of plastic that you remove form one of the two plastic brackets that go on each side of the blind (the one without the pulley) that once removed allows you to simply insert the blind on the opposite end and simply slide up the blind through the bracket in the channel created by removing this little bit of plastic, once seated in said bracket you simply re-insert the little bit you removed to stop the blind falling out. It's genius. Easier blinds I've installed.Highly recommended
