Great price but may not work as advertised
I purchased two of these during a flash sale that made it worth the refurb risk. I have a ton of Hue lights throughout the house to include strips that I purchased new. These came in refurbished packages which provides enough protection during shipping. I connected the two strips with extensions above the counters. Turned them on and one side worked while the other did not. After some troubleshooting I found that one of the extensions were bad. Removed that and then found that the light would stay on red whenever you shut it off. Went through updates and the problem is still there. It also does not follow the same light colors as the other strip and is noticeably dimmer. After over an hour of trying to get it to work, I submitted for a replacement set. Hopefully this one works as advertised. It's worth the savings but be aware you may get a bad set.I will upgrade my review once the replacement set arrives and works.

Get it you will not be disappointed
Phillips hue knocked it out the park with the hue product line. It's brite só many color and scene (different colors like Hawaiian sunset etc.) Easy to use. The only thing I see that's really bad is that the strip lights can be cut but Phillips itself doesn't sell the attachments for it ( 90 degree turn ) or anything that can help you reattach the cut strip light to the rest of the line.So say you have 2 strip light you cut one top fit where you going to put it. Now you have your other strip light plus the cut part you cant attach it back to make it longer. Which sucks they do sell 3rd party ones but I would prefer uhd the maker would sell it that way you know it will work 100% other than that this is the greatest thing I've purchased in a long time

Poor Customer Service Windsor
I didn't know it at the time but I inadvertently bought a "certified refurbished" Philips Lightstrip unit from Windsor, It doesn't work and when I called the warranty number Windsor has a ridiculous message saying that their customer service phone system is "being upgraded" so you have to email them. Pathetic. The Hue lightstrip they sent lights up but can't be found by the Hue hub and so it can't be controlled by the app. I wanted to see if it would work if I swapped it out for an existing (working) bridge, but the Windsor unit even has a different size power adaptor connection so I couldn't see if the strip would work with a different adaptor. Stay away from the refurbished units. Certified fail.

Only half of strip lights up, extension does not receive power at all.

Given the opposite of description
Disappointed to have bought the light strip just to have warm light as my only option. Description said “millions of colors and shades of white. Attached are photos of description and an example of other strips I have set up (other strips)and this refurbished one that I purchased (new) which is getting a low score for incorrect description for what was given

Works great!
Works great! Colors are awesome. Very responsive. Works with Alex and with Siri/Homekit. A little pricey for what you get, but it just works (which is not always the case with this type of smart home stuff).

General
The 3m tape sucks, but they are awesome and bright. The only downside is if you want to display multiple colors like the hue color lights you have to buy multiple power sources. Also, the instructions on how and where to cut are not clear so I will not be doing that any time soon.

Expensive
These are on the expensive side, but you are paying for convenience because they do work. However, there are much less expensive alternatives out there and they work just fine. PLUS, the adhesive on this is complete garbage, scotch tape will do a better job then this.
