Great value for money.
Well, what do you expect for less than four quid a torch? I just wanted a small convenient torch for dog walking, which is often in the dark at this time of year. I didn't want an expensive one as I tend to lose them, and/or leave the battery in during the summer which often messes them up. So at the price a few months use seemed a good deal.Opening the box I was pleasantly surprised. Good solid little torches, well made, metal construction, look like they'll take a drop or two. bonus for me they only take one AA battery. The light is brighter than I would expect, although I'm not a lumens expert. But they provide more than enough light for my purposes. I don't use the beam setting much, usually the flood option. Just the right size for slipping in you pocket. One resides in my dog walking coat and you don't even notice it's there.I was a bit surprised to note on a couple of reviews the comments about having to cycle through the options to turn the torch on and off. If you press the button firmly each time it just turns on and off normally. If you want the other stuff, and I don't, you just have to press the button less firmly to cycle through them.Great little torches.Update June 2025. Quick update. Recently moved house and these torches are still going strong. Given them a lot of use lately creeping round the loft and dark cupboards finding stuff. Sadly our whippet, Winnie died a few months ago so I don't have the need for a dog walking torch. But amazingly, for the money these torches still doing what they should with no bother. Absolutely fantastic buy. Don't hesitate. You can't go wrong.

Small, 2 of them.
The torch was ok, it's small and you get two of them for the price. I am a hill climber and I need good torches when coming off the hills in the dark. I don't really think that they give off 300 lumins. I will use it as a backup torch. But it's cheap and I suppose it's good value.

Value for money.
Small sturdy torches, pocket or handbag size. Love the easy way you can adjust the brightness and circle of light. Will tell friends about them.

So powerful for a small torch
Such u expected power from a small 1 battery torch. The zoom feature is excellent and will easily reach 100yards. Really impressive. A small torch that easily fits in your pocket. It has a rugged case with a pen type clip which is really useful.

Small moderatley bright torch with sharp bits.
These have good and not so good points. A compact torch that takes an AA battery and doesn't have a dazzling brightness level makes a really useful EDC. Lower output means the battery life tends to be longer (and AA has much longer life than AAA) and the torch can be much more discreet to use, with less risk of momentarily blinding anyone as you turn it on. The end clicky button is my favourite format (rather than a twist switch) and this one works at two depths of click: full for on-off and half press for mode switching. The light is a warm white rather than cool white, so again gentle on the eyes. The beam can be focused by pulling out (straight pull, not twist) the end barrel of the torch. This feels a bit cheap, but does work, and is fully metal. The negatives for me were really geometric. The removable clip is quite sharp edged and angular, so likely to snag if kept fully in a trouser pocket. But it is removable which offers a solution. The fatal flaw for me though is the sharpness of the bezel projections. While too small to really be a 'tactical torch', the sharp projections would make short work of a trouser pocket lining and potentially any soft pocket contents as well. As I bought it for pocket EDC carry, I returned it as unsuitable for pocket carry. For toolbox or glove compartment though it ticks all the boxes.

Value for money
Great torches easy to use, certainly value for money, used in wet weather didn't affect performance of torch. Very happy with them.

Good light esp on high focus.
Good for the job, just as much light as a bigger torch, light too, goid for travel and camping.
