Five Simple Steps to Sketching Flowers with Watercolors

This book is so helpful. I am new to watercolors and I was not sure where to start. This book has so much helpful information, and plenty of it. Everything is easy to follow and understand. There isn't anything crazy complex in here either, which I appreciate. A great concise book that I would recommend to all beginners!

Lovely book - very peaceful and delicate. The artist gives excellent detail in how to achieve the effect. Including details for beginners but that doesn't get in the way or take up a lot of space. Just part of the step by step. The more books I've seen over the years the more I appreciate an artist who cares for the readers. Especially when they relay actual information rather than create picture books for "inspiration".

This book does a great job of breaking down how to sketch and paint flowers. I highly recommend.

I love this book. The pictures are beautiful. It is good for the beginner, with detailed instructions for specific pictures. One experienced painter in my class is painting all the pictures. I also like that it includes sketches to copy and work from. I think it will help me to be a better painter.

This is probably the best watercolor guidebook I can possibly find. Everything is very detailed and very simple to follow along.

I have a Japanese version of this book, which I have been translating using Google Translate. This English version is much better and easier to understand because I don't know Japanese. I like her painting style, which is light and dreamy.

amazing art in this book. Beautiful craftsmanship and artistry, and very very impressive at teaching. I'm feel in awe of the author. She did a great job here.

This book has beautiful illustrations of floral watercolours with well thought out lessons that demonstrate the techniques. If you like painting watercolour flowers I highly recommend this book. The lessons outline how to paint in a loose contemporary style.

Le doy tres estrellas porque el libro llego machacado en una esquina. El embalaje también estaba muy abollado, así que debió caerse durante el transporte. Amazon debería tener más cuidado con esto.
