Audio-TechnicaATH-M40x Monitor Headphones (Black) with FiiO A1 Portable Headphone Amp

This is my second set of Audio-Technica Monitor Headphones. The first one worked well and the second one is also working great. The reason I gave this review three stars is because of the FiiO A1 Portable Amp. After about an hour and a half, the amplifier stopped working. I would recommend that people buy the headphones by themselves. If I had bought the headphones by themselves, I would have given a review of four and a half stars.

This headphones really stand out, used with a high definition system. Also the A1 Amp does the job!

I really Want to love these. I might need some more breakin time. Bass is lacking but there kinda. Mids and high ends are very present. Comfort is not good. Need at least some padding on the head band there is none. Replaced the ear cusions immediatly. ( SIGH ) So much work out of the box with these. I just shake my head......

Since these are sold as a package I rated as such. The headphone are outstanding. Sound quality is studio quality although they dont do a good job on the noise cancellation part. I found the amp totally useless.The headphones fit snug and are comfortable to wear for hours.Amazon delivered quickly as usual.
