Effort required and not Plug and Play but I am overall happy with the camera
TLDR - Installation medium difficulty. Firmware update may be required. Good video quality, sub-par audio. Viable option for those comfortable with troubleshooting issues. After 5-6 hours of work required to get it ready for action, the image quality of this camera is very good. Night vision is not up to reading a license plate or anything but it's decent and a person is recognizable in the image. The microphone itself I would give 2 stars at best as it is far too sensitive and has a huge amount of distortion. Bird chirps sound like small dinosaurs calling across my lawn. I couldn't conceivably use the audio alert options. Some of the "work" I refer to is simply learning how the camera functions and doing setup of the focus areas, reactivity zones etc and configuration of the alerts. Easily connected with my QNAP NVR for video archiving and basic alerts via ONVIF. Simple motion detection is possible with Onvif however the more advanced tripwire features do not function with Onvif. It was not terribly difficult to set up alerts directly from the camera but I did have to learn how to use their drawing interface. I have not completed my OpenHab setup so I can't comment on more integration capability. The primary problem I had initially was that I could not view the camera feed via the web interface due to flash compatibility problems. I did some searching and found an updated DAHUA firmware which solved the problem.****One thing that does NOT appear in the photos is that the RJ45 + DC power pigtail from the camera housing is NOT easily removable and is approximately 3/4" in diameter. The camera side of the cable is epoxied onto the metal housing which looks like it will be nicely waterproof, however I did not anticipate having to bore such a large hole in my stucco to pull that connector inside but I got it done.
