The trimmer was an excellent price and delivery quick. Once received it was put on charge as per the instructions. Once fully charged I immediately started to trim my hedge which at 2m + tall and 5m approx., in length has always been a challenge. It also has some quite hefty branches and brambles in it too. The trimmer coped well and there was plenty of charge left when I had finished. All in all it is fairly light and easy to use. As it is a recent buy and only used once it is difficult to provide a comprehensive review but it is looking promising and I'm happy so far

Really get through masses of work effortlessly with this. The battery lasts about an hour by which time you need a rest wielding 3.5kg about. Worth oiling the cutter blades after each use. Excellent purchase. I didn’t go for the big brand names. This is well built and works very well too.

Was trimming hedges easy? - Yes. A lot easier than my old corded model. This trimmer cuts through the stuff my old trimmer wouldn't.Is it lightweight? - Not for me, but I want durability rather than flimsiness and I can take a rest when I want to. I find that keeping the hedge straight at about 6 foot/1 meter a bit of a challenge. The hedge sides were easy though!Battery life? - Ah! plenty of battery left when I finished remodelling my hedge, but, according to the manual, I'm not supposed to recharge the battery unless nearly flat! That said, I bought another battery so I always have a fully charged spare.Would I buy another? - No. Why would I when I've got a perfectly good one already? I did buy more cordless garden tools though because of the sheer convenience of not trailing a mains cable around

Great product. I have really tall long thick hedges and this cuts them back effortlessly (so light weight) and saves me no end of time. Would love it if the battery lasted longer or spares were cheaper but still, far better than using a heavy petrol trimmer.

Superb cutting, reach, easy to use, long charge - cuts superbly through very chunky hedge limbs, has a great long body and blade to give an excellent reach, light and ergonomically designed to make easy, and battery last a good while. One of the best hedge trimmers I've owned.

I have several other Greenworks devices, and several 40v batteries. I bought another device (I think it was a chainsaw), but none of my batteries fitted it. So it went back.I took a chance on this hedge trimmer, and was relieved to find that my existing batteries fitted it.I've been gradually replacing my corded devices with cordless, and this fits in perfectly.Such a relief not to have a cord dragging around. It cuts fine, just like my corded one. And feels much safer, especially up a ladder. And this one rotates 90° left or right.Recommended if you have other devices already.

This Hedge Trimmer is so good and a joy to use. Would Buy Again.

This is a lightweight tool which is easy to use. It cut through thick branches of my hedge with ease. I was glad not to have to buy a battery as I already have one for my strimmer. The battery power lasted well for one task but I shall see with more use how long it goes on for.
