Great value
For the price you cant go wrong. Even if I bought this 5 times I would come out cheaper than buying oem. Passed emissions and bolted up nicely.

DO NOT BUY!!! Not fully welded. Catalytic converter Failed after 2 weeks.
I bought this to fix a failing flex joint on factory pipe. I had no catalytic converter issues beforehand. Took the time to install it. Fired up my girls car and leak was worse than before. I had to remove it and take it to finish welding it. I had to purchase a new gasket to reinstall. O2 sensor bung is positioned so that it is smashed against the floor. After getting around all of those problems now I have a check engine light on for bad catalytic converter. It lasted 2 weeks and 400 miles.

It's a piece of crap
They warranty this catalytic converter for 5 years or 50,000 miles it broke after 1 and 1/2 years and about 8,000 MI the warranty means nothing you can wipe your butt with it I couldn't believe the catalytic converter was bad but I took it to the garage and the mechanic said the catalytic converter had to be replaced

Not cut or bent to correct shape
It is not even close to bent enough to clear the stearing rach... showed pics to seller... he refunded me a good portion back because I had to have it modified to fit the car as intended

Ugly Welds
The welds are really, really ugly. Looks like someone new to welding put these together.

Fits pretty well
Pipes fit well on both ends, but the angle on the port for the O2 sensor was off a bit and it was a tight fit. Still fit, just wasn't the same angle as the OEM

Comes with new gasket.
Fit perfectly and it comes with the replacement gasket for the engine block. You will need a lot of ground clearance to get the old one out and new one in. It does have two ports on this unit but on 2000 jetta the upstream sensor is on the engine. I was able to get a plug for the unnecessary upstream port at autozone for $5.

A must when needed
Saved me $1000 and works great!
