Single best kitchen appliance
So glad I purchased this. Use it daily. No batteries or messing about, bang the beans in, 20 times round and perfect grounds. Looks good and the grip design and handle is perfect. Highly recommended.

Really great for the price, not for espresso though
Bought this as it looks very similar to the Timemore grinders, another Chinese company with pretty highly regarded £100+ grinders. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the same OEM. You definitely don't get Italian burrs in this, but for £50 it is a great value in my opinion.I have a Hario slim and a Delonghi KG79, the former has okay grind consistency but slips in the hand and takes a lot of effort to grind, the latter is just junk with so much fines, static, and popcorning. This is a big big upgrade for an extra £20 from the Hario and £10 from the Delonghi (not counting that this is manual though). The grind is much more consistent than either grinder and the grind time is about a third of the Hario. There is basically no play in the centre column from the two stabilising bars in the chamber. I think there must be bearings on the shaft as it is very smooth and combined with the sharp burrs it's really a pleasure to grind with. There is also grooves machined into the sides of the grinder allowing me to get a much better grip than with the Hario. I can do a 15g dose in less than 30 seconds! The downsides are that some of the finishing is a little suspect, I bet you get better QC with the £100+ Timemore grinders. The wooden handle was very tight out of the box, but some silicone grease sorted that. The lid is loose and if you tip it while grinding you can get bits of half ground coffee falling out. It is also smaller than the Hario and only takes about 20g of coffee at a time. There is also no good way of storing the handle as it's integrated in the lid, making travelling a bit more of a pain. The manual is totally in Chinese too and the box is encased in tape, making it not look so great as a gift.A big negative is that the steps are large like the Timemore so I would not recommend it as an Espresso grinder.Still, a great grinder for the price, really happy with mine!Price paid: 50 pounds for black 50mm model

Excellent
Great bit of kit. Well manufactured and very good quality and materials. Grinds very fine but I have to say it could be a little difficult if you lack in strength.I would recommend this product and good value for money. Anything cheaper I would be aware of.

Great grinder! Fast and consistent!
This grinder is crazy fast, grinding beans in less than a minute. The grinder holds enough beans for 2 cups of coffee, or 1 strong cup. The grinds are super uniform, the precision is crazy with how even it is. The only issue I have is that it's too fine, even on the coarsest setting, it is still fairly fine.Overall, I would definitely recommend it! Definitely worth the price for a manual grinder.
