GREAT slip-pah for LUAU Feet
I've been wearing Scotts for a long-long time. I stopped using the 'DAH-LAH NINETY-NINE RUBBAH SLIPAHS' years ago after I was introduced to (& finally had some extra dollars fo buy) my first pair of Scotts. Back then, I could find them in my favorite Surf Shop (in Kahului). First impression was how well they fit. Next impression was the fact that I could wear them mot only on flat ground, up & down the hills, inside & across the river AND the straps NEVER/EVER pulled out. I find that they wear out very/very slowly (& even when their getting thin, the straps stay in place). The secret is to keep the Old Pair for doing 'Ho Hana', in the yard, and save 'The New Pair' FO GO OUT.My favorite Surf Shop is' No More', BUT thanks to Amazon.Com, my new Scotts were only a 'CLICK' away.Mahalo & Aloha

They are very durable and comfortable flops. This is my second pair of Makaha's ...
I have been wearing Scott's for 20 years. They last a really long time, but I've probably gone through at least a dozen pairs. They are very durable and comfortable flops. This is my second pair of Makaha's with the Navy strap, and for some reason the Navy colored models fit a bit looser than the black straps. I like the color and the price, but the fit is a bit sloppy. I'll go back to the all black flops next time. The soles are exactly the same size, so the "somewhat larger" description is only applicable to the strap. For reference, I have a 10.5 foot in most shoes, but since Scott doesn't make half sizes I have to choose between 10's or 11's. I end up going with 10's because I prefer a snug fit over a sloppy fit, although I wish there was just a bit more sole under my heel.

An ultimate choice in footwear, worthy of the price!
Scotts have always been my choice of slippers to wear around the house or out, and about! You can't go wrong with this remarkable brand, given the fact that they come with a lifetime warranty. My last pair broke after some 10 years into wearing them, and only because I'm out of the country, I've decided to wait till I get home to follow-up on my first warranty request to see how this portion of the purchase goes. In the mean time I've decided to purchase another pair, just to make sure I have an on-hand back-up in case of such an emergency as an unforeseen breakage. Not likely in most cases, however, one never knows when that ten year old pair is going to give in to the wearer's usage. An ultimate choice in footwear, worthy of the price!

Shoe size 10.5, ordered size 11, fit perfect!
My husband wears size 10.5 in shoes, so I ordered size 11 for him. They fit perfectly. He wears flip flops daily...all year round in hot or cold weather. He loves leather ones but they get cracked when wet and are expensive to keep replacing. I convinced him to try these because they look waterproof. The quality is great and they look well made. They are thick and padded. I’m keeping my fingers crossed on these ones.

Mens Vs. Womens? Try both because to each his own...
I wear a 7.5 2A. As a female with narrow feet I am happy to have "discovered" Scott Hawaii. I reviewed their Women's Nahoa Flip Flop Size 7 in June 2017. It is a positive review and I like my pair a lot. I followed up that purchase a short time later with these Men's Makaha. I saw the company's Facebook post that this model was on sale the month of June to celebrate their anniversary. I wanted to take advantage. Plus, I've read multiple reviews from ladies saying they prefer the men's version of this footwear. I ordered this in Brown, Men's Size 5. Lengthwise, they are perfect. Widthwise, they are not ideal. The sole is not cut as slender as the Women's. This is not a dealbreaker. They still fit me. I guess because they are tight enough through the straps. Also, the ladies Nahoa is a different texture on the insole. More "grippy" (spongy), if you will. With these I have to curl my toes just ever so slightly more to compensate. Again, not a dealbreaker. I kept these and have worn them many times already. But, overall, I do prefer my ladies pair for the reasons stated. To each his own I guess!

Best Slippa Made!
Scotts are simply the most durable and comfortable flips. I've worn them for over 20 years and keep going back because you literally can't wear them out (Well maybe after several years of continuous use. I still have my originals for knocking around in the yard). The newest pair didn't seem to require the usual break in period of the older models and were comfortable right away. Great arch support and heel cup. Not made for style, but the materials are serious. Order your correct size, they have straightened out the sizing issue noted in earlier reviews. I e-mailed the company to check this out, and the president responded. Now THAT"S service!

Hide your NEW SLIPPAHZ! Lol
I've always loved Scott brand slippers! They're comfortable, strong, and last a very long time! Being from Hawai'i where everyone owns a pair of slippers (and I mean everyone), it's nice not having to continuously buy another pair due to breakage from cheap material or wear and tear every so many months. (If you're into designer slippers or pretty colorful slippers, then Scott's may not be your pick!) Scott brand slippers, to me and in my opinion, are made for functionality for everyday wear and built to last with comfort in mind. In fact, its so much so that if you just bought a brand new pair of Scott slippers and invited a bunch of friends and family over for drinks and laughs, at the end of the night, you could find your new Scott slippers have been replaced with slippers of the same make, model, and color, but definitely from a different year! Lol! Or at least in Hawai'i that is true! Now, if you do catch that person before they escape with your new Scott slippers, "Oops, I thought that was mines." is just another way of saying "Crap, I got caught!" Lol! That fool knew those slippers werent his/hers but wanted all that comfort for themself!...Well, better luck to me in catching that person next time! For now, Scott brand slippers are a five out of five for me!!!

My last pair lasted 34 years! I expect these will as well.
These replace the Scotts I purchased in 1982 in Hawaii. The fit is slightly different than the originals, but I expect to get the same outstanding service from this quality product.

Very comfortable! Minor tip before buying.
Comfortable flip flops, and a bit stylish to boot!Just a quick tip though. As another review said, they are a bit small so you should order about 1.5-2 sizes larger than your actually size (I'm a 7.5 and I got a 9 and they fit perfectly).

Rubs on the toe
These were super comfy on the initial wear but gave my husband blisters between his toes right away. Made for an uncomfortable vacation sadly.
