As I said it s ok, but I would not buy it again. It was slightly bent when it arrived and still is. It is not well made. Does not look that cheap but shop around and you ll find much better

Have used this lamp daily for a month now and I'm very happy with it. It comes in linked pieces which are easily screwed together, then the joins in the main column are practically invisible due to the brushed antique brass finish. It's a sturdy, steady lamp and much heavier/better quality than I expected. My preference would have been for a switch at lamp-holder height as we find the floor switch and trailing cable a bit awkward, but that really depends on where you site the lamp and how that affects your access to the switch.
