I bought the Adidas J650 judogi new from a 3rd party online Adidas retailer and discovered the following faults: 1) a small hole in the trouser by the knee; 2) incomplete stitching also by the knee; and 3) trouser length measured max length of 98cm, whereas the specification was 101cm. I communicated with Adidas UK and although they said they would look into it and reply, I received no response. I subsequently learnt that Cimac are the official UK Distributor of adidas Boxing and Martial Arts gear. They in turn inspected my photos and concerns about weaknesses in their product and they replied, "Unfortunately, with these suits there will always be imperfections (not faults) so if we sent you another pair we could not guarantee that you would be any happier with them." They also confirmed about their range of judogi, "Yes they are all made in Pakistan." This is not to say that all judogi from Pakistan are of similar quality. All I can say is that I was extremely disappointed to receive such a poor quality item from what I previously considered a high quality brand. Many other brands of judogi exist and I shall be investigating them in future.
