PROSmart Heated Vest Polar Fleece Lightweight Heated Gilet with USB Battery, Unisex - - -

This was bought for my husband for Christmas so I can't comment too well about it. My husband is totally delighted with it so far. It arrived quickly and fits well (it was a little difficult getting the size right as the advert for it measures from armhole to armhole rather than whole chest size - but according to other reviews, needs to be a snug fit) but it's been worth the effort. Even without the heat on, it's a lovely warm over vest. He manages the heat options really well and has found it benefits him immensely. He is 80 but active - and needs to go to the allotment and walk the dog during cold mornings and evenings and this has totally changed how he feels when out in the cold. He is totally delighted with it so far. Of course I recognise it's early days yet and anything can go wrong with it - but so far, all is well indeed. He hasn't yet needed to use the extra power pack that we bought with it. The power pack was suggested by Amazon as something other's purchased when they bought the Heated Vest so we got that also. I've a feeling it might be needed at some point but so far, and not as yet. Amazing item I'd highly recommend for anyone who feels the cold. The three heat settings work exactly as stated...........it's just doing a good job so far!!

I waded through hours of reviews on loads of different heated jackets and gilets before finally deciding on this one. It was a great choice!I decided a gilet would make sense as it can be worn under a coat in the winter and on its own on those slightly chilly summer evenings in the UK.The good thing about the gilet, or vest as they call it, is that it hugs your body so you feel the warmth of the heated panels within a few seconds of turning it on. I imagine with a slightly baggy coat that you’d be waiting a while to feel the effects of the warming.The battery lasts easily long enough for an evening of outdoor entertainment at the high power setting and I’d imagine at the lower power setting it would last all day, but I’ll have to wait for the winter to see.The battery connection is a standard USB one so if you want to purchase a spare battery you can do with no problem (I understand a lot of heated coats/gilets have a non standard connector, which is crazy). The battery is great as it has 4 lights (leds) that indicate it’s available charge, something that for some reason isn’t mentioned anywhere in the Amazon entry.Regarding size; this was so confusing with a mass of conflicting information.This was my experience. I’m relatively slim and normally take a medium to large in shirts, t-shirts, jackets etc. however, when I followed the advice in the reviews to err towards a bigger size and bought a large, it was too big. I exchanged it for a medium and it fits perfectly. In my opinion if the fit isn’t snug you’ll have to wait for longer to feel the warmth from the heated areas and the styling suits a closer fit anyway.In summary, I love this jacket and it was an absolute life saver earlier in 2021 when you could only eat outdoors at a restaurant and on through the spring/summer when outdoor gatherings were still the norm. It’s great for taking the chill off while walking the dogs on those slightly chilly summer evenings and will be awesome come the winter. I liked it so much I bought my wife one for her birthday.

Great product, battery life not as long as I would like, but another battery pack will do the job. The instructions for the differing levels of heat are non-existent, so they could be improved, but overall very pleased

I find it very good indeed. It needs to be full on for me and lasts about 3.5 hours. I have purchased a spare battery pack for £17 & it then lasts the day. You need to get a compatable one. Well made jacket, which is warm anyway. Good black Friday deal on for £56. Recommended.

There was a lot of choice for different heated vests and jackets, and I chose this one because it had very good reviews. I'm a womens size 10/12 and I found that the small size of this vest fits perfectly over other clothing. The garment itself is really cosy especially having a lovely soft tall collar. When switched on it gives a nice feeling of warmth on your back especially. I am hopeful this is going to make the winter dog walks much more comfortable.

I used this for outdoor coaching and skiing. I bought size S, the size chart is t accurate, so if you need this on the top of something then follow the chart otherwise you need a size down. I use long sleeve top underneath and this vest on the top,l. A battery is a bit big- could be more thin as I have had before it was thinner bigger but lighter. Happy with product, battery lasts as it said.

Update Feb 2020-The fleece no longer works. Doesn't matter what battery you use it works for a few minutes and then stops. This was a Christmas present and now it's useless. Will be contacting the seller asap.Ordered a small and it still fire, and zips up over a thick fleece. The heated back panels are great. I’m always cold, so this was a very well received Xmas gift. You can use other power packs too, so it can just keep going if needed. Very impressed so far

Il gilet è arrivato con la batteria non funzionante. Poiché il prodotto è molto caldo e ben fatto anche senza batteria ho deciso di tenerlo. Con l’assistenza, molto presente è valida, ci siamo accordati e mi hanno inviato immediatamente una nuova batteria. Adesso funziona perfettamente e ne sono veramente contento, lo consiglio.

Mindere punten: geen maat XS waardoor het minder goed aansluit en zodoende het gevoel geeft dat het niet warm genoeg wordt.
