This hard hat is extremely comfortable. Those that need to look up often would benefit the most. The adjuster on traditional hard hats have a knack of digging into your neck, the adjusting strap on the Kask is located higher so it isn’t a problem with this hat. The vents are nice and keep your head cooler than traditional hard hats. Chin strap is great for those working at height that need to bend down. I really like the integrated visor too. As a chippy who can’t keep track of his safety shades, it’s a great feature.Not sure what the ratings are, but I imagine this hat is best suited for woodpeckers and sparkies. I work in Boston and see these more and more now. Likely will become the new standard.

I really sweat over this one. I was looking between this and the Petzl Vertex Vent, which cost $15 less. I spoke with other people in entertainment and they said this was more comfortable over long periods so I went for it. While true you lose the electrical rating when you go for vents it is worth it for long duration use. I did a series of 15-hour days six at a time when I had to wear this and it kept me cool. I will buy this again when I need a replacement.

Fits great, is adjustable, vented, comes with all the features I could want and the color is easy on the eyes (blue)
