They work
The bags make cold brewing coffee a much cleaner experience. Trial and error as to how much water/coffee you can use per batch compared to no bag, but the ease of clean-up makes it worth the few less ounces you get.When the batch is done, I pull the used grounds out, bag and all and toss the whole thing right in the compost. Quick rinse of the Toddy and disc filter and you're golden.
