Stylish
This tub spout was the perfect choice for my minimalist tub setup. It has a sleek, modern design that complements the rest of the bathroom perfectly. The quality is solid, and it feels durable without being overly expensive. I was happy with the price point, as it offered great value for the look and quality. Overall, it’s exactly what I was hoping for—functional and stylish.

Love It!
I was reluctant to pay so much for my Grohe hardware but I am so glad I chose it. Every piece I bought is gorgeous. The shape and color are absolutely stunning. The fixtures are actually metal, not the plastic junk that so many other brands are selling. My contractor said he loves using Grohe because of the quality and ease of installation. I'm super happy with my purchase. You will be, too.

Beautiful spout but ...
... make sure you install the included fitting on the copper coming out of the wall BEFORE you finish the wall! I didn't and now have a 5 pound paper weight ... it really is a nice spout though - beautiful finish and not 'clunky' looking like the Moen 'slip-on' spout I had to buy as a replacement.

This is a beautiful tub spout and is made of high quality materials
This is a beautiful tub spout and is made of high quality materials, however, I should have listened to the reviews with how hard it is to actually make it function. Since this spout does not screw into anything, there is nothing really properly securing it to the plumbing. I found this out the hard way. We just finished a bathroom remodel and had been using this for two days. I was about to give my 3 year old his first bath since the remodel. I wanted to spray out the tub with our handheld shower first and as I tried to push down the diverter to get the shower to start, the spout flew off the wall like a speeding bullet. If my son was in the tub while this happened he would have been seriously injured. Not to mention, it created three chips in my newly refinished tub. As beautiful as it is, it's just not worth the risk. We even had a plumber install this. I would skip this one and go with a spout that actually screws in. Very disappointed.

Great item
Very happy with this purchase of an original Grothe part, at a great price.

Shiny and heavy
Lowes, Home Depot and ace carried plastic. This spout is pure brass and chrome polished coated. Great weight and quality to it. I was very happy in the final results and this spout was part of it.

Ridiculous
I purchased this tub spout as a replacement for an older grower tub about that I felt was just looking old. They changed not only the length of the adaption, but after calling them three times the only answer awful answer at all was no helpful answer at all so I’m returning this although visually it is very beautiful and look to Moen or Kohler for my answer

Can't fault the quality of construction; product support sucks
Why do we write reviews? We love the product and want to share or we hate the product and we want to share. What if we like the product but customer service (Grohe) drives us to writing a bad review? Contacted Grohe to find out how long the 1/2" NPT quick connector (to determine how long the supply line pipe needs to be). The usual long wait times (phone or chat) but we can get back to you. Asking the question on a large retail box site that they monitor helps. I was told the connector was 1". Nope, it's 1.75". Customer service quoted the assembly drawing which is inaccurate... drawing looks like its 1" and is flush with the wall. For the escutcheon to be flush, the NPT end of the connector needs to extend into the wall, therefore the supply pipe resides in the wall (approximately 1/2" from the tile surface). Wasted purchasing a 1/2" x 2" NPT red brass nipple... waiting for delivery of a shorter nipple. Grohe fails on documentation and a correct customer response. 3rd party vendor did their part and delivered the goods.Updated10/4/21My brass nipple finally came in and I finished the install. After tightening, the 1-1/8" long nipple just squeeked in over the 15/16" minimum from wall requirement (1-1/2" nipple was too long). What's nice about the design is that unlike a true NPT connection, the nozzle allows you to tighten for leaks but the final spout position mounts flush without worrying about screwing on a tub spout and having it point sideways when tight.
