Do NOT buy!
What a terrible disappointment. One star is generous. My daughter is a HUGE LOL doll fan. We were so excited for this toy to be released, as it was one of my favorite kinds of toy growing up. Unfortunately, the images come out messy, the frame does not hold the paper well (our first attempt was a total bust, as the paper crumbled as she tried to do the rub !) and the crayons that come with it are cheap and waxy, so you can’t even color in the outline without the black blurring in. Wish we wouldn’t have wasted our money on this. :(

Immediate Enjoyment
I bought this for.my grand daughter’s BD. She is very much into the LOL’s right now and this turned out to be the perfect gift. She played with it the rest of the night and gave everyone at her BD at least one drawing. The fashion plates give endless design choices and hours of enjoyment. I just wish there were more pads of paper as she made so ma;y drawing’s, she was out of paper by the next morning. This product comes with lots of design plates and nice coloring selection and best of all, hours of fun. My grand daughter did not put this down for the rest of the evening and was back at first thing in the morning. I thank ink this is a perfect gift for any young LOL enthusiast.

No easy storage
I purchased this as a gift for my 8yo daughter. I expected it to be kind of like the Fashion Plates of the past but with LOLs instead. It is, kind of. But the Fashion Plates I remember were all contained in a box that stored the plates and the black crayon and holder. This doesn't really have that container so the pieces are thrown in a drawer and my daughter really isn't that interested in it after playing with it the first time. Eventually I will put it in yet another plastic bin (does anyone else have too many of these for you storage?). It was inexpensive but I would've paid a little more for it to be stored well and then easily put away and taken out to play with. I wouldn't buy it again.
