For whatever reason once I swapped out another one of my couplers with this one, it changed my line rate to 100 and will not go back to 1000. I've swapped my old coupler back which this one replaced and it went back to 1000.People will say it's the cable, but no, it's not.

This was exactly what I needed. Temperature sensors we buy have short cables and an RJ45 connector on it. So we use these to connect them to our own custom CAT6 to extend them to our switch. These work perfectly and are not flimsy whatsoever. Solid construction, well crafted, would probably survive if I stepped on them with my boots. I deployed all of them upon receipt and they all worked flawlessly. I would definitely buy these again.

I don't even know what some of the things they list on the review mean? Rate it's sheerness? Strange, but here is why I'm writing a review. Have you ever spent a couple hours pulling a new network cable through a drop ceiling that was installed so close to the ceiling above it that you couldn't even lift the tiles only to find out your 50' cable was about 5 feet short? No? Just me then.... Ok, well if you have an ethernet cable that's too short I can tell you this one working great for me and it seems to be as fast or faster than the cable it's extending. I'm getting 600 Mbps through that line now. It was definitely worth double the price as well as it's working.

These have really come in handy where I needed a few extra feet on a cable but didn’t have a longer cable available at the moment. These seem good quality. I’ve ran POE cameras on cables connected with these and cameras functioned fine with no noticeable loss in quality. I’d buy these again.

Leftover 6 foot long cat6e cables were just a clutter in the closet until a new device needed to be connected to the router. A new 25 foot cable would be too long and a new 15 foot cable would be too short but an 18 foot cable would be great. I used these couplers and all is well. I changed out two others I had in use with theses as well, the Oneme couplers are much better quality.

I needed to move my router from inside a closet to a more central location. Since the connection coming into the house and all of the wired rooms terminate in the closet I had 5 cables to extend. These did the job and I have no signal loss. I even used those 3M stickers to velcro them to the wall. Hoping I won't have to move these for years to come.

Unit works. Plug 2 cable cords together to extend the length. Units are compact and not super bulky. And they work without needing instructions. Perfect for times when the network cord isn't long enough. Note, I did not use these for my power over ethernet phones. I do NOT know if they'd work for power over ethernet. But for extending the cable to your computer, these work perfectly.

Very low cost, so I was not expecting much. These are extremely well made. A solid chunk of molded plastic around the RJ45 connectors. When you need to extend ethernet cable, these are the connectors I would go to. The connections are solid, I will never worry about the coupler coming apart. It works very well. Highly recommend.
