ordered some cedarwood blocks that needed much more aroma....they were very weak out of the packet...this is great stuff not thin and watery ...and the aroma lasts for ages...keeping moths at bay in my wardrobes and drawers....highly recomended 100ml bottle... Ok. So the smell is not strong. But the seller informs me this is because it is a superior cedar oil. And made from a different genus. It smells pleasant. I have put it on little hanging ‘moth deterrent’ hangers, and cedar wood blocks. They had been in my wardrobe since last year, so died! So I Put new oil on them and the ‘end’ sign disappeared in the blotting paper within the moth hangers, (the blotting paper is soaked in the oil and kept in place in a wee plastic ‘cage’ on a plastic hanger) so good as new now! I also use it with a moth stray which is fantastic. I have so say since using them I have only see. One tiny moth. So hopefully we will not have any more issues. Update 10/11/19; Ok, so been using in my wardrobe for months now. No sign of moths! One of my poor vests, which I bought was getting shabby, till I realised moths were using it as Macdonald’s, was already damaged. But nothing more. This stuff really works. No more clothes with holes in! Just so you know, I had used the little plastic ‘moth hangers’ and ‘moth balls’ in packets. And I found you can resize them with this! Just put a few drops on, and you see the ‘end’ sign fade and them fill back up! And not a moth in sight! I also did get a back up moth spray they sell on here, in a purple spray bottle (called ‘Zero in clothes, moth killer’) and sprayed all in my wardrobes. A double pronged attack I felt was needed! I had a lot of moths.....So this cedar oil is recommended stuff!

Purchased this last year in a smaller size to replenish my cedarwood rings for the first time in the wardrode, fairly impressed so purchased a larger bottle this year to refresh the scent on the cedarwood rings have to say a much stronger scent when opening the wardrobes this year, an ideal product for what i want it for, overall i would recommend this product, which is at a reasonable price.

Moths watch out…..I’ll be back with something much such worse (if this doesn’t keep them out of my cashmere jumper)

This was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect to use in burners, freshen up textiles and to use in a wardrobe to keep moths away. Nice, strong smell, smells exactly like real pine.

After searching Amazon for an effective & natural moth deterrent I tried this essential oil. It's quite pungent & seems to work. My technique is to put about 4 small drops onto small cedarwood disks (let it soak in before handling), which have a central hole, slide the cedarwood disk onto the metal 'hook' of clothes hangers & suspend clothing from them in wardrobe. For items stored in drawers, like woolen pullovers, I put four drops onto a clean new Earl Grey teabag & placed two teabags at the side of each drawer, not touching the clothing. I intend to refresh the drops every few months, as in a centrally heated house everything dries out!
