Is this latch reversible for left hinge outward swing install?

I used for outward swing but think it’d be fine for inward too.

Is there something I can attach to the inside lever to make it easier to raise when exiting?

I added a d & d handle to the inside- $5 black or $6 white on Amazon/ $10 at orange big box store. Though it doesn't help the opening mechanism, it greatly assists pulling the gate open while manipulating the closer lever. 100% better operation!

Will this work with a 6 inch post?

No, it will not work with a 6" post.

I installed this latch yesterday but my gate will still blow open from the outside. Does anybody have any suggestions to keep this from happening?

You can try installing vertical rods on the back side. I use them on both gates to lock our double gate from the inside when we go away.
