Aqua Pure AP117 Cuno Replacement Cartridge for Drinking Water System Single Filter

I can not believe that this filter was nowhere to be found in my area,thanks to Amazon I did find several sellers with this filter.The AP117 premium filter is a very good filter,i have been useing this brand for many years,it doe's deliever what it says, for clean clear filtered water,a great product,i have checked the major stores in my area,they all seem to sell the cheaper filters,thanks to Amazon and it's sellers these products seem to be the only place where you can find the better quality filters,a good price, and very good shipping,no damage,on time delivery,you just can't beat that for service.

This product is ok. The price/quantity is misleading on Amazon's webpage. It is quoted as a price for a pair of filters, but when shipped from the vendor, only single quantity was shipped, hence I paid twice the price for each unit. I did get a satisfactory response from the vendor, but this has happened twice to me. This makes me not want to order from Amazon in the future.

Works great. Quick shipping. It might leak at the top if you don't also replace the o-ring. Worked like a charm once the o-ring was replaced.

I use this to filter sediment and rust out of my water before it hits my RO filter. My plumber installed a filter housing in the basement, and I change this out every six months. I have a white filter first, then this one, which seems to work OK. I change the white filter every three months, and this one every six months. The white filter gets clogged with rust when I change it, and this one looks rusty too, but I can't really tell how much rust it actually filters. The pipes in my neighborhood are 100 years old, and very rusty, so that's why so much rust. My pipes are copper. I still find rust in my bathroom sometimes, probably when the city is flushing the hydrants or something that stirs up a lot of rust from those old pipes. Well, I'll keep on using these because they are better than nothing. They are quite expensive, though, my only real complaint.

Tried MANY filters on my whole house filtration system this for me on my well water has so far been the best !!

This AP117 is a perfectly sized replacement filter for the Waterpik IF-10 housing. I find the taste to be very neutral after installation compared to the previously installed GE filter which lasted only 8 months before experiencing too much pressure drop. Seems much better made too. I plan on stocking up.
