IRIS Neat nā Dry Puppy and Dog Training Pads have a five-layer quilted protection design to ensure maximum absorption. The pad instantly turns up to a quart of liquid into a gel to prevent tracking. Each pet pad measures 17.5-inches by 23.5-inches and protects flooring with super absorbency technology. Pads come in a variety of sizes and are perfect for training a puppy or assisting elderly dogs.

Perfect size for a dachshund, great quality
I have a 12 year old long haired dachshund and this size is perfect for him. It holds around 2 full pees or 3 medium ones. My dog pees a lot because he doesn't like to go outside specially during the cold season so these work perfectly well.

Soaks it up!
I have an older dog who can't last the whole time I'm at work, so we've gone back to her puppy memories and she's peeing on the pee pads. These pads really soak up the urine and turns it into a gel-like substance under the top layer. Very easy to fold up and throw away without worrying about spilling anything. I have the frame that holds the pads down most of the time. If she just pees, they're fine. If she also poops, then she does the "covering" scratching with her back paws and that can pull the pad out of the frame.

No Spillovers!
These pads are excellent quality. The cotton/filling does not budge but absorbs really well and doesn't spillover. Definitely better than wee wee pads and more economical too.

Pretty great!
One of the biggest reasons why I keep buying these puppy pads is, because from the searches that I have done on amazon for puppy pads these pads are at the most reasonable price for the amount Iām getting. Iāve seen many puppy pads that have the quantity of 100 or 150 and the price is $30 without tax. However, the only reason I gave these pads 4 stars is because they are on the thin side. However, it has never soaked through into my carpet or tile.

Major quality decline recently
I've been buying these for some years for one of my cats that's shy about sharing a litter box with my other cat. They've worked very well. But they have changed over time. They used to have a thicker, stiffer backing, and in the past year or so have substituted a soft backing. Well, I wasn't crazy about that, but they still seemed to work although they were easier to be turned over by a pawing cat. The last batch I bought, however, was much worse. They seem to have about half the amount of gel they used to have, and are noticeably thinner and lighter. Pee spreads much further in them than it used to. They still work, and they still don't leak through the backing, but they're a lot riskier than they were before and are just barely acceptable. I'm really sorry to see this, as I've been satisfied with them up till that change and I don't look forward to trying a bunch of other brands. If they're going to halve the quality on them, the least they could do is lower the price.

Very disappointed in these training pads
Very disappointed in these training pads. We have 2 Yorkies who do their business on potty pads in the house. We typically use Absorbz brand pads, which we buy at Costco for approx. $15 (for 100 pads). Our Costco stopped carrying Absorbz for about a month so I've been frantically searching for pee pads which (1) contain the urine, (2) do not leak, and (3) are not going to cost me an arm & an leg. These pads aren't very expensive - I believe I paid approx. $28 for 150 pads. So, pricier than Absorbz at Costco, but not too expensive. They are smaller than Absorbz pads and are more of a rectangular shape. These pads are lighter and not as sturdy as the Absorbz pads. Each time my dogs go on the pad, their weight shifts the pads (and they are very small dogs, less than 8 LBS) and the pads move everywhere and so does the pee/poop. Yuck. The pee also tends to leak over the edge. I keep noticing that it's wet under the pads.Thankfully, Costco has re-stocked Aborbz pads so we can go back to them. Unfortunately, I'm stuck w/this box of Neat n Dry pads that I'm not happy with. I'm planning on using them as back up.

Blue side up!
I have a geriatric dog who just can't hold it all day, so having these around is essential. These work very well, as long as you put the blue side up! One morning I laid one down with the plastic backing up, and as you might expect it didn't absorb anything. LOLI'd rather have a larger size pad, but this size seems to be the only one I can get via Subscribe & Save.

Disappointed
Wanted to like these... Unfortunately, they are small, very thin, and leak easily (like when I pick them up š£

Does the job well, but not "Premium"
It works and fits very well with the pee pad holder from the same IRIS company. However, compared to other brands, I don't see what is so "premium" about these training pads.Overall, I am satisfied.
