Chesapeake Bay Candle Double Wick Scented Candle, First Bloom, Oval Tin

I am a Pumpkin scent/flavor junkie and have tried all sorts of pumpkin scented candles. This is hands down my new favorite.I love the aroma, it smells very similar to a pumpkin spice latte. It is not too rich, yet the smell can fill an entire living room with a pleasantly sweet and rich fall smell.So far I have burned it for about 8 hours total and there is still plenty left. I was surprised when it arrived, I thought it would be larger. The candle is roughly 7 inches long and not very tall. I took two photos, in one this candle is placed next to a bath and bodyworks candle holder to show scale.The candle has two wicks. As it burns, the melting wax looks pretty clear and has a cool effect. The wicks do not produce much smoke.Overall if you are in the market for a pumpkin candle, go ahead and add this to your cart. This will definitely enhance your autumn.

I gave my wife the White Gardenia Scented candle and she loves it. It smells fresh and clean. The tin it comes in is looks great sitting out whether lit or not. After lighting it we could smell the candle throughout our living room and in our kitchen. The scent it noticeable but not overpowering. It's a very smooth scent. We have little ones in diapers and it definitely helps keep the house smelling fresh. I also really like that it's in a tin and you can close the lid when not in use. Little ones would have a hard time opening the tin and there is no glass to break if dropped. The candle is a perfect size. It was packaged well and arrived quickly.

I have purchased a lot of candles over the years, both expensive and at the dollar store. This one is by far the best. The scent is strong, but not over-powering. It is perfect in our bathroom. The tin container is very fun and different from most candles I've purchased in the past, and I love that it comes with a matching tin lid. The Aqua Marine scent that I purchased is very fresh, perfect for relaxing during a bath. I look forward to trying the other scents Chesapeake Bay has to offer.

Very much enjoying the scent of this candle. I have burned it twice since it was delivered and it leaves a light, but noticeable fragrance. I burn it in our kitchen and the fragrance reaches the surrounding rooms (dining area and living room). I have followed the directions to trim the wicks to 1/4" inch and burn no longer than 2 hours (I would LOVE to burn longer since it smells so good). The only disappointment is that the 2 hour burn recommendation is causing an uneven burn of the wax - perhaps due to the oval shape of the candle? I would look for it in the future in round versus oval shape. However I would definitely buy this again because the reasonable price and the lovely scent are well worth it.

Candles, like a lot of things in life, are very subjective... I'm sure that this is a great candle for many folks. We see this in the reviews.Kudos to the first reveiwer who bought this for his wife, she loved it.For me it was abundantly sweet. Gardenia (for me) should have those green undertones. My preference is the Gardenia from Illume.However, the container is nice, it's attractive. Makes me think of "Shabby Chic" I could see this in a home with clean lines and stainless steel too. It has a strong aroma and for a large room or areas that require a strong scent, i.e; bathroom.. Very SWEET strong smell.

I love these candles. I like a earthy more woodsy smell and these candles are perfect for me. I have the fig one in my bedroom, the leather one in the living room and the bay cottage in the entry. I've liked them so much I have also purchased the smaller mind and body ones for the bathroom. I like the confidence one and also the reflection one. I just ordered the beach bonfire candle and can't wait to receive it. For me the scents are very pleasant, not perfumery and sweet. I hate food smelling candles. If your looking for sophisticated earthy aromas these candles are for you. The quality for the price is hands down amazing. I love the simple jars also, easy to incorporate into your decor.

Though the smell was great, 4 of the 5 I bought arrived shattered. So I didn’t get to use them. Had the packaging been better I would highly recommend these.

Ugh :( I am a B&BW/Yankee candle addict but I saw all the great reviews for Chesapeake Bay candles and, against my better judgement, I decided I needed to get one. I ordered the two-wick Driftwood and Amber scent. I love this scent in general so I figured it was a safe bet. While the scent seems pleasant, I can BARELY smell it. I’m talking face in the candle, flames burning my eyebrows off close to even get a whiff of the scent. WHERE IS THE THROW?! I’m using this candle in a small office space so it should have some sort of throw but unfortunately it doesn’t. I’d have been better off burning the cash I spent on this candle as it probably would’ve had a better throw. 2 stars for what I think would’ve made a good scent and I like the tin it comes in. If you’re a B&BW addict looking for a quick candle fix, this is NOT it.
