I'm trying to decide between the tribit xsoundgo and tribit maxsound plus. which speaker would you recommend if you could only choose one?

Depends on your use case. The Xsoundgo is the more amazing speaker, considering its size. It's just amazing to have such great sound out of such a small speaker. On the other Maxsound is more powerful and bassier, it is better in that way. If you are using the speaker mostly at home or in the backyard, get the maxsound. If you are a frequent traveller and want something to take carryon, get the Xsound.

How does this differ from the SoundGo speaker? Is the sound quality better,

The DOSS SoundGo is a comparable product. I own both and they are both limited on the top end. Mid range sound quality is fine. No crisp highs or booming lows... But it fills a bedroom space quite well. The SoundGo steuggles to "fill" a space with sound. Its definitely more a of a directional, but really sleek unit. Trade offs i suppose! Lol! But overall sound quality is better from the Tribit.

Does this come with a charger?

Mine didn't come with a charger. Although I was on their website yesterday and noticed they were selling the next model up for 4.00 less than this model - I'd jump all over that! Good luck✌

Is this much better then the 12v

maybe you mean the x go ? I don't have the x go ,but from the reviews I Have read this is an improved bigger better sounding unit, I think its well made and sounds great, I have a aomais life, doss soundbox xl , oontz angle 3 , and I like them all ,but this has become my favorite. I hope this helped
