My sister got this same bassinet. Her baby loved it and I thought it would be perfect for us. I got it and I did not remember it being so BIG, but our home and room are smaller than hers, so it may just seem way big because of that.Other than it being a little big for our space, it’s perfect. It folds and rocks like it should and it’s firm. It’s lightweight too, just awkward to handle unfolded. The fabric of the mattress is that slick type that you can easily wipe off with a rag to clean and you can remove it to wash it if need be.

I read up A TON on bassinets before I purchased this. Here is my pro and con listPros-easy to assemble-very light weight and easy to travel with-love that it can rock or stay still-fits a snuggle me or dock a tot perfectly-love that it can be used for an infant up to 15 poundsCons-not the best item for a newborn. Newborn will likely roll onto side. Mine did.-needs to be a few inches taller so that bassinet can be level with bedFor the price of this item it was worth having. If you are going to use this item for a newborn I suggest using it in conjunction with a snuggle me or dock a tot. When I first place my newborn in the bassinet, he immediately rolled on his side and it scared me to death. As other reviewers mentioned, it was because of the split that is in the middle of the mattress. After, talking to my cousin she told to put the snuggle me in the bassinet and it worked like a charm! Yes, the instructions say not too, but using the bassinet this way work wonderfully for my newborn. Once my baby got up to about 11 pounds, I removed the snuggle me and no rolling!

Great for travel! Folds super easily and we were very surprised at how spacious it is. Mesh is great for keeping an eye on baby. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered this from my hospital bed when baby came 1 month early.Pros: arrived the next day and was easy for my partner to assemble on her own. Sits flush beside the bed with the four legs under it. light weight to move to the living room each morning. Mesh covered most of the sides, great for ventilation and newq mama 'are-you-breathing??' checks on baby from bed :)Cons: not height adjustable - mattress is only 1.5ft high so a bit of a back-breaker. Mattress is pretty thin and there's a fold down the centre whereit can fold up in half. Vinyl type fabric on either side of the middle, baby somehow manages rininxh his face toward this overnight and freaks me out! I wish it was mesh the whole way around.

good travel bassinet for older babies/toddlers.way too big for newborns, not easily foldable, i have to fold the bassinet by flipping it over not just pulling the tab up.

We ordered this basinet for our baby, it looked like the best choice at first.Once we put the baby in it, we realized that it is not a good choice at all. It is hard to move around, but most importantly is that the way the mattress is designed does not provide comfort to the baby. As the mattress is split in half to allow to fold it easily, it creates an area of discomfort for the baby. Our basinet now has an edge in the middle of the mattress where the two parts are supposed to align together.I bought this through amazon, and I wrote this review after using the basinet for one month while I was looking for the right place to send a complaint regarding the basinet mattress.
