I'm in my late 40's and my hair is not full as it used to be. I had been looking for solutions and I even used to go to hair salons to build glued extensions, which was horrible because it made me lose even more hair (The glued extensions pulled up my natural hair and it fell off!)In this sense - The secret extensions are perfect! They are comfortable, they don't pull up the natural hair and doesn't bother me at all. Also, it looks AMAZING! It perfectly blends with YOUR OWN HAIR and style.Sometimes when I get bored with my natural hair color, I add different shades and even different colors to create a unique look.SO WHY DID I GIVE ONLY 2 STARS? I can explain!1. The manufacturer is not generous. Too little hair on the band. You need to put 1.5 to look great (I sometimes break one to two)2. Be aware this is almost a one-time product. It doesn't last long and therefor too pricey. After 2-3 times you hang with it, it starts to get tangles and a dry look, just like real hair! But unlike real hair, you can't fix it. Trust me I have tried everything: I shampooed and washed it, I tried hair masks, , and even rectangle spray. Of course, I tried combing, it got worse.Trust me on that: Once the synthetic hair goes bad, it cannot be fixed. And gets worse every day until it looks just like dreadlocks :/Last week I got myself another one, and it got destroyed after two times I wore it! Two times.Because I'm aware of the short duration I usually get it for less, from eBay, and also from China. I would never agree to pay the full price again.3. The manufacturer doesn't want it to last long. (have I already said the manufacturer is not generous?).How do I know? Because there's another problem with the product: the band tends to get loose after a while. It is explained in the company's brochure that this cannot be fixed. They actually advise you to buy more "since it is cheap" (I'm quoting)I had to find out myself how easy it was to fix the loose band!All you need is a small tool that can be bought with a few bucks. You need to untighten the small piece of metal that holds the band, pull up the band, to make it short as it was before, and tighten again! So easy! but the manufacturer doesn't want you to know it :)

I did not order my Secret Extensions through Amazon, but wanted to give a review. If I would have thought to look them up on here first, I definitely would have gone through Amazon. They were about $10 cheaper and 2 day delivery. Mine took almost a month through their website.The color (medium brown) was a bit darker than expected. But i normally have my hair colored dark for the fall so they matched well after a trip to the salon. It has tiny streaks of a lighter color to give it a more realistic look.I definitely needed 2 pieces to get a full look. Luckily the second one was "free" with additional shipping and handling. I ended up sewing the 2 pieces together so I could remove one of the elastic straps and save it. I thought I could keep it for a backup just in case.The design works well with the thin elastic strap. It is hidden well when you pull your hair through it. The hair itself is pretty soft, it does get a little ratty, like most wigs do, so keep a brush with you. The hair doesnt pull out when you comb it like a wig. So far it seems to be made well. It is shiny and blends well with my hair. I don't plan on wearing it everyday, just for parties or going out. You really need to have hair that is shoulder length and layered for it to blend in well. So far I really like it!

I do like the extensions, I don’t love them. They are pretty, not very thick which is okay with me.The biggest issues I’ve had with them is that they tangle easily, you can’t really wear your hair anyway except down or they will show & they do not curl at all (I really tried) and my third time wearing them the headband on them snapped.I tied it back together so that they were still wearable but then a couple of weeks later probably my 5th time eating them the other side of the band snapped. I am very disappointed in them with how functional they are & with the fact that they are not very durable! Overall I feel like they are much cheaper then other brands so if you are wanting something quick to use I’d say they’re okay however you get what you pay for and I was really wanting these to be great.

I'm 22 with naturally fine and thin hair. My hair has recently been falling out due to stress causing it to become extremely thin and stringy. I have clip in extensions but wanted to try these to avoid extra hair loss from the weight of the clip ins pulling on my natural hair. I ordered a dark brown and it arrived less than a week from ordering it. I had no problem putting it in or hiding it. The headband is almost invisible on my head and the hair blended perfectly. The color is slightly darker than my hair but it looks fine. It's comfortable and natural looking. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with thick hair because there's only one weft although you can wear up to 3. I wasn't looking to add any length just fullness and it did just that. They come in 16 inches and just happened to be the same length as my hair so it blended in perfectly. It's almost impossible to tell I have extensions in. I wasn't expecting this to look as good as they do. Super happy!

They are great if you want them as they, however if you want to style them you've got no chance, no matter how long I hold them in the curler, they come out just as straight as they went in!

it's a great idea but it's not long at all. looksstupid in my hair as it's much shorter . maybe longer lengths should be an option

They are fabulous, honestly. But you need 2 for fullness. Excellent tho. I love them
