How bright the light is for spotting animals at night.
Perfect for what I wanted, spotting deer and elk at night! I am an elk guide and I needed a light that could reach out so I can identify antler size. I wanted a light that could be plugged in during an evening scouting trip, I do not want to depend on a battery while out driving and spotting and it fills that requirement. It definitely has enough battery life to last while dragging out an animal at after dark, been there and done it! Another her plus is that it is very well put together and can take what normally takes place during a hard hunt. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Best bang for your buck
Cut the 12v car plug off it and put alligator clamps on to hook to a boat battery when I catfish. Used it last weekend and it lights up both sides of a river for 100 yards. For the money I’d recommend

Pros and cons
4/5 stars based off the cord. Great light, floods light out a good ways. Just the cord either isn't long enough, or should be straight instead of pigtailed. It stays getting tangled and whenever you shine it out of your window you have to stretch out the cord cause it constricts on itself very hard. Id suggest buying an extension so you can avoid the cord issues.

very brite light works great
the only issue I have with it is the metal springs should be longer ..when plug into the 12 volt power source it pops out because the springs are not long enough..went to auto zone and bought a adapter plug which the adapter plug has longer springs which work excellent ..the plug has two adapter plugs on it..plug that into my power source on my boat then pluged the light into adapter works like a champion..the adapter was only 7$ so no big deal..but other wise great spot light

Not durable for long use.
I ordered two of these lights to replace some 20 yr. old Coleman halogen lights that have started to break. Unboxing these I noticed the solid feel and a nice bag to put the lights in when not in use.On the evening we were to do a spotlight deer count, I plugged both lights into a 12v socket to ensure they were working. One light lit up immediately, the other took a bit of pressing the trigger button to finally get it to light up. Finally, we were ready to go out and the unit which had been difficult to light up, failed as the trigger mechanism would not function properly. So, I grabbed the old Coleman light as a substitute. The Goodsman light was very similar to my old Coleman as far as light projection and distance, however the newer halogen bulb seemed a bit brighter. That is the last of the good about this light. We used both lights very similarly during our spotlight count, which lasted about an hour and 45 minutes. During the use, we noticed both lights got hot and the 12V connection to the female receptacles both got hot as well, but the Goodsman connection actually melted during the evening, burning my daughter's hand and requiring us to pull the connection, let it cool and fix the end connection. We were able to get it to work for the last 30 minutes, but it was very concerning that the connection actually melted. The 20 year-old Coleman connection also got hot, but did not show any signs of coming close to melting.I wish the experience had been better, the lights, while they functioned were exactly what we needed, but have build quality issues.

Decent until it broke
Broke after a month. Seen some deer, pulled it out and the light burnt out. Very bright if you can keep it plugged in but the plug pops out every 3 seconds because it doesn't fit nice

Lámpara para cacería
Tiene un largo alcance. Y lo mejor es que la uso conectándola al encendedor del carro.
