I bought the 15 pound weighted blanket in grey because my daughter has anxiety and when she was in the hospital they had them which she said really helped. When she is having anxiety she wraps up in it and it calms her anxiety down. The shipping was fast and the item came as described. The blanket is just fits my teenage daughter's twin bed perfectly. The stitching is great and the fabric is soft. The blanket itself is not washable so I ordered a weighted blanket cover so I can wash that. The value for the money is exceptional. This blanket is good quality and should last awhile.

I was skeptical about weighted blankets, but I'm a restless sleeper and like everyone else, I'm dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety these days, so I decided to try the 10 pound 50x60 throw. I was really surprised at how comforting the weight is. I don't like having the weight on my feet, but I was expecting that because I don't like the weight of an ordinary blanket on my feet, either. So I went with the smaller throw size, and I can pull it up under my chin and leave it off my feet. I love how it drapes around me, almost like a comforting hug. The throw is a good fit for me.I was also surprised that it didn't get too hot, and I was actually able to use it under my regular quilt. It's been cool at night here (low 60s), but I was still surprised that in summer I can use both the throw and a quilt and not be overheated.Interestingly enough, my cat likes it, too. He doesn't sleep under it, but something about the texture of the throw appeals to him, and he has started sleeping on it. It's firm and soft at the same time.I'm glad I decided to try this throw.

I didn't want to believe the hype about weighted blankets but with the pandemic my diagnosed severe anxiety and ptsd has been at an all time high. My husband bought me this weighted blanket so I could give it a try. It has completely changed how many times I wake up at night and adds a feeling of security without too much weight. I feel like I'm being hugged. It is wonderful. I would buy this again 1,000 times over and plan to get some of these for friends this holiday season. If you are on the fence about getting a weighted blanket, I highly recommend starting out with a low weight like this one. You cannot go wrong. Does not feel suffocating at all.

It’s a good blanket, and the weight is nice. I think this listing and they hype around weighted blankets in general lead people to expect some amazing super blanket, and this isn’t that. What it is is a good light weight that applies light pressure that mildly soothes you, and I like that.

Bought this for a customer - I recommended him a weighted blanket for his mom since she has been going through a lot. He told he it was like night & day - she was a completely different person. She loves it so much she carries it around the house; he compared her to Linus from the cartoon Peanuts. She was very happy, and she calls him every day to thank him for it.I have a 20lb blanket myself, the store doesn't have a 22lb, and even though it's not recommended (max of 10% of your body weight is ideal) - I would've settled for a 25lb blanket, but 20lb is as high as it gets from the store I got mine. I love mine - it helps me sleep straight through the night, no waking up randomly or every hr, no nightmares, no anxiety.If you know anyone that have trouble sleeping, anxiety, depression, stressed, ppl who are autistic - I HIGHLY recommend getting a weighted blanket (make sure it comes with a duvet/cover, makes for easy washing). It is worth it - think of it as being hugged, a well deserved hug.

WOW!! I know it’s a new trend, these weighted blankets, and I didn’ty want to buy into the hype. But then my son, 17 YO, asked for one. I bought him one that was about 3 lbs over the suggested weight for myself. (Blanket should weigh 10% of your body weight +\- 3-5lbs). He let me borrow it for one night and I can remember the last time I fell asleep so fast and slept through the night. I was given one for my birthday. Since, I have, except on the rare occasion, slept like a swaddled baby. When my legs ache, I adjust the blanket to put more weight on them. I’ve found that if any part of my body hurts, if I adjust the blanket’s weight distribution to that area it relieves the pain and I can fall asleep.Amazed that I do not get overheated 🥵 living in the South during the summer. The material the blanket is made of is not only breathable but also comfy.

I got this blanket for my stepdaughter because she’s been waking us up in the middle of the night for weeks now for no apparent reason & I’m exhausted. I am SO glad a friend of mine recommended a weighted blanket!!!! We’ve been using this blanket for about 6 days straight & have not had issues with her waking in the middle of he night!!!!! Best decision EVER! She’s 7.5, average height & weight & I got her the 15 lb blanket. I wasn’t sure if it would be too heavy for her but I wanted to be able to use it for a few years. The blanket is not heavy at all once it’s flat & open. It’s the perfect weight & very comforting. The only thing I am not sure about is how to wash it since it did not come with instructions & im sure the weight will mess up my washer. I will just spot clean it as it gets dirty with vinegar which naturally eliminates odors.
