UGG Women's Ansley Moccasin Slipper

These run small. I have about 15 pairs of uggs, ranging from various boots to slippers. Plus several have been eaten by my dog, if we're really keeping track. I always buy a size 5 and they always fit perfect or loosen up after a day or two and then fit perfect.I bought these in a size 5 and they're way too tight.I could barely get my foot in and once I did my toes were pushing against the top and the back of the slipper was cutting into the back of my ankle so bad.I've had several pairs of ugg Dakota, have the Alena and Chickaree, as well, as far as slippers that have comparable shape. Dakota always starts out a little snug but then loosens up to perfection after wearing around the house for several hours (same with chickaree). They've never started out this tight and small though so this one must run small/tight.There's no way they'll loosen up either because the problem is the overall length being too short.I do still give them 5 stars because they are of course excellent quality and the fur inside is so thick and plush. Definitely comfy and warm.I think I like these even better than the Dakota which has been my fave for years now for around the house, quick driving errands, taking the dog out etc. The sole is the same and the cut/shape is generally the same, minus the leather lacing string. The toe is slightly more rounded on Ansley as well, when compared to Dakota. The fur inside the Ansley seems thicker too, all over.I have a nice who will love these, so I won't be returning them. I'll just buy a size up for myself now that I know.

Important Update: 09/19/2023 4:26AMThese are the best shoes I've owned. I water them 100% of the time, now. They keep my feet warm, when it's chilly. The keep my feet cool when the temps skyrocket.I only have one problem. I had 2 major back surgeries (6 weeks ago). The only shoes that kept me stabile when relearning to walk, warmed my (always cold feet) and brought me internal comfort (like no others could), we're taken...while I was in my 2nd surgery. I miss them more than words could express. When I'm able to work, once again, I hope I can afford another fantastic pair.Trust me they may seem expensive but they will, by far, be one of the best purchases you could gift yourself (and others). You will thank yourself for years, cherish them always and gift them to loved ones, with pride.My only caution is to keep them very close, even if in surgery. Apparently, I'm not the only one who coveted these well-made shoes that'll become another, perfectly wonderful, part of your being. Good luck; hang on to them; but definitely purchase these fantastically made Uggs from a company who actually cares for their customers, as well as (and especially) the quality every person purchases and ultimately begins to love, from the moment your foot gets inserted.I'm sure Ugg doesn't read this but it is important, in this life, to let people (& even companies) know when they are doing a great job and getting things right. As a lifelong Quality Engineer, who is critical, knowledgeable but fair, Ugg...you are a rarity and I'm proud to have purchased several beloved gifts (6 pairs, for family).My very next purchase, when I can get back to work will be another wonderful pair of Uggs (of the exact style but perhaps blue, red or something jazzier... my grey ones may still be in the mix 🥰🤷‍♀️😆. Thank you for meeting my extremely high standards, as a quality engineer (In my career I've been all of these types of engineers: supplier quality eng, I coming Inspection & Supplier Excellence eng, manufacturing eng, process eng, Quality Auditing engineer, ISO Eng, Line Engineer, Innovation Product Engineer.) All those promotions give me a great amount of expertise and high value advice for a potential consumer.Consumers: Based on my professional experience, extensive inspection of the product and years of my (& my family's) wearing of these shoes (that have never shown even potential for defect - in well over 7 years, for some). Trust this company but not the folks who might covet what will quickly become your favorite shoes 🤷‍♀️🥹. I sincerely testify that, in our experience, there is no reason you would find to not thoroughly enjoy such well-made shoes by a sincerely caring company, UGG.Thanks, UGG! We all need a closet full of Uggs. Life would be better and so would my back.I bought my 'rents' some Uggs for Christmas a few years ago. They raved about them. My feet have ALWAYS stayed cold. This year they bought me a pair. It is hard to get me out of my Uggs, now. I love these things. I'd wear them all the time, if it were possible. Thanks, Ugg! My feet are finally warm!

I order these Ugg skippers every year. I wear them all the time since they are so comfortable. They don't wear out, I just get them dirty through out the year. I would suggest not wearing them when cooking food that splatters grease. They absorb chemicals. But in saying that, I love them and will continue to order on a yearly basis.

I bought these at the beginning of summer last year and thought, well...they are probably going to be too warm...BUT I have worn them every day since then...I mean every day. I have trouble finding comfortable slippers or even shoes for that matter since I severely broke my leg that cut muscles and nerves to my foot a few years back. These are so comfortable. They stay on my feet, not too hot in summer, and I look forward to changing into them at the end of the day. They have held up wonderfully. For all the time I spend in them, there is hardly any wear. The lining does mat down as I expected it would, but it doesn't bother me at all. I mean, if you're walking on them, they're not going to stay fluffy inside. I know you're not supposed to wash them, but I am going to give it a whirl to see how it goes and let them dry in the sun. Who knows? Maybe they will fluff back up! UPDATE: I washed these slippers in the machine on delicate setting and set them out in the sun to dry. It took two days in full sun, but they dried and fluffed back up. When I tried them on, it seemed that they had shrunk...they were tight, but after wearing for a couple days they returned to new-fitting condition. It's like I bought a new pair without buying a new pair.

Very nice quality shoes. Worm and breathable. Initially feels a bit tight (I am 10 fit wide feet), but after a week of wearing taking a shape of feet and fits beautifully. Highly recommend!

The fitting is quite snug. I am a 38.5 but ordered a 39. The fitting was quite tight but the lining is quite fluffy and full at the moment. Hopefully they will stretch a little with wear.

I am thoroughly enjoying wearing my new slippers they have a certain amount of support and I am able to go in and out of the house and garden.T
