If you like satin stitch this is for you
This was a very tedious project and took almost 2 months to complete working about 1-2 hours a day most days. I'm not a slow worker and am experienced in embroidery. Because I make these to sell for charity I seldom do projects that are this time consuming but they sold immediately because they were so cute. It's basically a satin stitch project so if you like that stitch this would be a good option for you.

Ease of sewing
Currently working on this - the embroidery lines are clearly stamped, easy to see, the directions a bit confusing at first but once started it's easier. Very nice fabric for the pillow case. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

A pleasant surprise
I embroidered these pillowcases to give to my son & daughter in law who like flamingos. They turned out much nicer than I thought they would. I'm so proud of how they look and can't wait to give them their gift.

great design, very cheap fabric
the design was cute.... but the instructions were AWFUL!! all of the symbols are basically identical, so I finally had to make up my own color pattern.after spending significant time on the first pillowcase, the fabric ripped...simply from the needle marks. oh yeah... made my day. I repaired it the best I could, but who knows after a washing if it will hold up.wish the patterns were available so I could use my own fabric.
