Van Heusen Men's Tall Wrinkle Free Poplin Long Sleeve Shirt

Here's a decent dress shirt! My size selection worked. Great fit! I got XXL Tall, 18.5 X 35-36. It has LOOONG tails that tuck deep and stay there!Mine was made in Honduras. Poplin is all you get about fibers and fabric. The care tag says gentle wash warm. Tumble dry. Medium iron.Now about that Iron. You will have to iron this sucker! It comes out of hand laundry wrinkled! Not a problem as most Hotels have irons. Just another step in care....I use dress shirts as a jacket over Game Gear long and short sleeve under shirts. This combination keeps me fairly warm. If it gets REALLY cold I'll need a real jacket! I like to travel with the clothes on my back and a small, six pound pack. So much easier!

I finally learned a secret about ordering my shirts after years of having them ride up my back and have the sleeves ride up my arms....special order these tall versions and you will be much more satisfied with its wear. With these shirts both problems are solved since the shirt tail is longer and I can order a 35/36 instead of having to live with the 34/45.PS The Jockey tall t-shirts pairs great with this or any dress shirt as it too has a longer tail to prevent the ride up. Also there are extra long neck ties that wear better than the standard versions.

I bought this shirt because the VH "Big" shirts did not go up to a 19" neck nor did they have 36" sleeves. Since I am both Big and Tall I looked up this shirt which seemed to have the right specs. A reviewer also mentioned that it was really Big in the abdomen. So I thought this would be perfect. I find the shirt to be normal in the abdomen, not Big. So I still need a Big and Tall shirt. I have a VH shirt that was given to me by my company that is absolutely perfect -- but it was more of a broadcloth material. I'll wear this shirt while I still look for one with another inch or so around the middle. (PS: if the fit were better it would get 5 starts!)

I was in need of a dress shirt and had a very short amount of time to get it. I live in a rural area and I am obviously a big guy (cuz im buying a big n tall shirt) so finding clothes locally was not an option. I was able to order this through amazon with 1 day shipping and get it in time for the event. The sleeves fit well, the collar was a little too big but not bad, however the chest was really big. I wear a 46-47 chest and this thing was much BIGGER then that. In addition to the sizing issue, the fabric is a little thin so you can see your undershirt though it a little in the right light. Other then that, the price was fair, I could get it in 1 day and it got the job done.

I owned this shirt before and loved it so much I bought two more. If this was offered in other colors in my size I would buy more.The shirt fits well. I am a big guy with a big neck. This is only of the first shirts that fits comfortably around my neck without an elastic collar button. It is also long so when moving around it doesn't easily come untucked.The material is great. It is light but lasts. It starts off a bit stiff but after a wash and a wear or two it becomes very comfortable and very soft.For my money this shirt deserves 10 stars.

This is a classic Van Heusen dress shirt. Looks and feels fantastic. It's very well made. I am not easy to fit, being 17 1/2 x 37 size, so if the manufacturer skimps on sleeve length, I know it. All of the seams are perfect, the collar is just right. It also has a standard breast pocket and many new shirts (is it Euro styling--or just a way to cut costs?) don't have the pocket. I prefer a pocket for a cell phone, or maybe a pen or glasses sometimes. This shirt was a gift and I am glad I got TWO of them.

We are officially hooked on these shirts. Everything--price, fit, wrinkle free--is perfect! You won't find a better price, the fit is just as we needed, and I (the ironer in the family) run an iron up the sleeves, only because I like the sharp crease. All you really have to do is pull them from the dryer while it is still running, shake them hard, and hang them on the hanger. I let them cool before I hang them in the closet.

The shirt is a good shirt and the tall fit is perfect. My only issue is the product description says that the shirt is 65% Cotton / 35% Polyester, however the tag on the shirt says the opposite 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton. I assume the shirt is right. If you do the close up on the tag you can see it in the product picture. I still like the shirt, fits great, but I prefer more cotton because it breathes more.
