Good quality HIPS filament
PROS* Easy to print.* Sticks well to Kapton with easy removal.* Great as easy to remove support material for ABS.CONS* The filament roll is gigantic and heavy.I've had great results printing with this HIPS. The filament appears to be quite consistent in quality. It's works well when used as support material for ABS. I print it as if its ABS and it prints great.When used as support, the HIPS doesn't bind to the ABS, making it very easy to remove the support material from the ABS. You can have HIPS support that's 100% solid, and the ABS part will easily pop off of it. One word of caution though: when using dual extrusion with ABS and HIPS, a plastic ABS print head carriage like many printers have gets very hot and can melt if there's not enough ventilation. Make sure your print head has enough ventilation. If your printer has a lid, remove it when printing with 2 heads so the printer parts don't overheat.The filament roll is gigantic and heavy, much wider and heavier than a 1 kg roll of ABS or PLA from several other companies. I would prefer a smaller size option such as a 0.5 kg roll, especially since I don't use much when using it for support material.

Bought this to use solely as a support material. It works as stated but dissolving it with the orange oil is messy. Very labor intensive to get all the goop off of the printed piece. I will be trying the water soluble filament next.

Most usless filament.
It has a very cheap feel to it. Could get it to stick well to any surface so I could not use it a support material. I can not think of any project I could use this for.

HIPS performs as expected, no issues with clogging, sturdy well loaded reel, good packaging.

Forget about Stratasys
support structures dissolved nicely in D-Limonene ..Who needs a stratasys when you can do this same thing with a dual print head!

Prints great for all around use
Prints great for all around use. Needs heated bed. It prints at 235 C with 95 C bed. I used blue painters tape on the aluminium bed.
