Is this a good gift for a 10 year old

If they love the movie, or just Olaf, then I would definitely say yes. I bought one for a nine year old. Shoot, I would even hang one up in my own room.

How long does it take to automatically shut off? Will it shut off via the remote, or does the remote only turn it on?

I don't no how long it takes to shut off but it stays on long enough for my daughter to go to sleep and the remote only turns it on if u have it on by switch

Can you keep the nightlight part on all night ? Or just for 15 min?

The night light will turn off after 15 minutes. Some of the reviews stated it to be cheap looking but i feel it is super cute and serves it purpose very well. The Light is made of thin plastic but that is so you get the effect of it being a night light. So adorable hanging on the wall! Love it!

Can I turn the light on without sound?
