Ventura Rear Rack with Seat Post Attachment, Black

I installed this on my road bike, which I also sometimes use for my bike commute. The positives:* That's a big clamp with long bolts that go through enough of the bracket to really tighten it down. It clamps solidly to the seat post and isn't going to work loose or move around.* It does weigh only a pound and a couple of ounces so it's not weighing the bike down as much as most racks will.* The length is adjustable.* Flat solid platformTo be aware of:* Adjusted to full extension, the front stop plate is still underneath the saddle.* A solid piece would be preferable to adjustable, since anything less than full extension won't work very well.* No blinkie mount.* The two bolts holding the telescoping section are long and hang down quite a bit, which looks a little odd* With the light aluminum and full extension, I'm not inclined to test the load weight limit. Light duty only.Even with the drawbacks, which aren't that significant in my opinion, it's still five stars because the rack is overall better than expected.

It looks like the manufacturer had 2 pieces from something else and made them fit. I don't think they belong together since a cross brace is scabbed together ( a stud hand welded) to be able to mount together. Weird.

This is a high quality easy to assemble and adjust bike rack that fit perfectly on my ebike.I'm very satisfied with the product so far.

Came with no mounting instructions.

Had it for 2 weeks. Rode it 3 times. Then it snappedRight on the welds and All I had on it was my skateboard strapped down on it. Kinda lame it can even hold a 6 pound max skateboard for a 8 mile bike ride :(

Installazione semplice (anche se le gomme per gli spessori fornite in dotazione son un po troppo morbide ed occorre serrare a morte i bulloni). Dopo 50 km di MTB si è gia consumata parte della vernice del "vassoio" superiore, sintomo di una verniciatura scarsa; ci ho appoggiato sopra materiale morbido e leggero (meno di un kg).Sto valutando se toglierlo o verniciarlo.
