It doesn't come with any instructions but it's not difficult to figure out

This model is exactly what we needed for a student display. It was easy to assemble. The model is very cheaply made but will go together as it should. Don't plan on using it for something that requires sturdiness or hands-on. It is mainly for viewing. Delivery was as promised.

There were NO instructions on how to put this together. There is one plastic "base," but I'm not sure where it goes. It cannot stand up on it's own, so it does not look anything like the one pictured. I teach DNA classes and I wanted this for a display, but there is no way that I can take this anywhere. It's too flimsy and the pieces keep coming apart. I'm going to have to create something in order to hold up the double helix, otherwise this is useless. There is a bag of about 20 plastic "pins" but I'm not sure where they go and there is nothing to put them into.

It looks good on the picture... but that's not how it comes out... it doesn't even come with instructions you have to figure out what to do. Besides that.. after all your work putting it together it comes apart so easily! we ended up gluing it to the base and along the middle which defeats the purpose of it being "dna/fluid"... we figured out how to use it and the colors are on point and my kid got a good grade on this project so that's why the 3 stars.. but unless you're desperate... I wouldn't recommend.

I bought this model for my high school classroom. Once you have it together it’s decent but it’s very flimsy. The nucleotide pieces are made of weak styrofoam which doesn’t seem like a problem at first, but then you realize you have to twist the styrofoam in order for the plastic dowels to work correctly. When you twist the styrofoam, it snaps off. The bottom dowel doesn’t have any support so I had to super glue it to the base, otherwise it would flail about every time you pick it up. The labels are already falling off of the styrofoam Nucleotides when you open the package So I had to super glue the labels back on. It gets the point across to the students but it won’t last long. I’ll have to buy a sturdier model next year.

The slits in the plastic sides are cut in the wrong direction so you can't assemble it with the pegs that hold it up. Even if that wasn't true, the slits are cut too far apart so you have to chose between displaying it poorly or assembling it properly. Cheaply made. Pieces break from assembly. Huge disappointment.
