Dremel Blades are great; Amazon shipping fast and easy
These are great blades. They do cut through wood nicely, and metal as well, although they get dull quickly when cutting metal. These are genuine parts and came quickly at a nice discount to the Home Depot price, and they saved me a trip to the store. Please not that these are slightly more narrow than the blade that the Multi-Max comes with. Not a problem, but just wanted to point it out.

Indispensable tool
The Dremel multimax tool (or equivalent) is an essential item for any DIY person. The blade featured here is great for cutting square holes, undercutting door jambs, etc. Other useful blades are the ceramic cutting blade to remove grout and the wood cutting rounded blade for straight cuts. You won't regret buying these items. I did a spa plumbing repair that saved me thousands by cutting ports in tile using the cermaic blade and cutting drywall and wood using the wood blades. I also used this tool to cut PVC pipe for the plumbing repair.

Dremel wood and metal blades
I use these for both wood and light metal cutting as the need occurs. The tool itself is very useful for cutting in confined spaces. It seems the blades wear out rather quickly. Putting a drop of oil on the blade before cutting helps the cut and the longevity of it.

Pricey but still cheaper than in other places
I use them constantly to cut door trim for tile laminate hardwood floors. Good clean (!) cut. First i bought similar set a couple years ago from ebay for 12$ and it lasted good amount time for me. Hope this one is of same quality. My Dremell died on me right after i purchased this blades but they honor their warranty really well and now i have even bigger and more powerful unit. And this blades fit well with that unit too

small blades but OK
I'm used to buying the bigger blades at box stores and so was expecting these to be bigger. But the photo makes that clear and it's my fault for not checking better. Quality seems on par with box store parts. The smaller ones have advantages for finer work so I'm not disappointed.

Smaller blades, but adequate.
I hadn't used an oscillating tool until now. This metal and wood blade has held up great cutting finish nails from behind 60 year old (brittle) crown and base moulding that I wanted to salvage -without damaging the drywall. Without that blade the trim would have been ruined (easily $200 worth of millwork if not irreplaceable). Only 1 scar- user error. It has worked well cutting through old caulk and paint as well. This package of three is slightly different than the wood and metal blade that comes with the original purchase. These are only 1" of depth and about half an inch width. The width is an issue when you are trying to keep the blade on a visually obscured nail. The blades last for about ten finish nails (the big ones) and only a couple of framing nails. It cuts through 16 gauge and smaller with ease.

Multi Max blade review
I've used these a long time and they hold up well and they do the job. Can't beat it for cuts in difficult to access old work.

Bad product at a better price
The business model Dremel (and others) use is to sell their basic tool at a modest price and rip you off on the replacement blades.*These blades are only good for cutting 4 or 5 #8 nails before they wear out, so there just isn't any reason why they should cost $12-$13 apiece like they do at Home Despot. They last a little longer on wood, but not much. The package should include a caution that this blade is also dangerous. After cutting a small amount of metal, when you try to cut a nail or screw in wood, your dull Dremel blade doesn't just fail to cut, it heats up, burns the wood and can start a fire. Keep some water and your lawyer's phone number handy. The only reason why I give them two stars is that, through Amazon, they cost only about 2/3rds of what they cost at HD or Lowes. What is your alternative if that is a nail that just has to be cut?*This is different from the original Fein tool concept, which is to rip you off for both the tool AND the blades.
