Have served this Cream of Wheat for over 50 years. It is so very good. Loved by children and adults.Healthy and delicious - the best way to start everyone’s day. Serve with cream and brown sugar.

I am a culinary student thus I appreciate quality in foods. I was introduced to this variety of Cream of Wheat at the "Original Pancacke House" near me. One that I frequent gave me a box of the 10 minute variety to try at home. There is a big difference between this one and the "instant" varieties. Unfortuantely, I have never found a grocery store that carries the yellow box. However, Amazon is easy, cheap and free shipping. Be careful to stay close when cooking. It must be stirred during the entire cooking process to avoid lumps. After much experimentation, I use 1% milk and mix one cup of milk to one ounce of cereal. Heat on medium. Too hot cooks it too fast and creates lumps. It easy to make ahead. I prepare 10 oz servings on Sunday for use during the week. I serve with fresh fruit. For added richness, add one cup of heavy cream to seven cups of milk (ratio). When you reheat add several ounces of milk to each portion then heat (about 2 minutes, 45 sec.). Wisk briefly to get smooth consistency. Using 2% or whole milk does not seem to result in much difference in structure or taste.

This is not a 10-minute version of Cream of Wheat.As other hot cereal such as Quaker Oatmeal have a 10-minute cooking version (without all the additives), I was so excited to find this supposed 10-minute version of Cream of Wheat. I read the reviews and was thrilled to see others writing that this was in fact a version they remembered from childhood.Not only is this not the version I remember. This is not a different version of Cream of Wheat from the 2.5 minute ones on the grocery story shelves.The ingredients pictured above are not the ingredients on the actual boxes you receive.This product is a scam. And sadly, if like me you have food sensitivity issues, this can make you very sick. Do not buy.If you have, demand you money back.Please stop scamming people to make a quick buck. It's quite dangerous.

first this is what my Dad and i would eat in the mornings, so it's my comfort food, and my children who are adults now find it to be their comfort food too from their momso that's coolmy recipe is: in the bowl you are to eat from, put in 1 cup Kefir yogurt (i use vanilla or blueberry or what ever yogurt is your favorite) and then some blueberries or bananasPeacefully stir cream of wheat until it's at the desired consistency (i like mine on the thicker side)sometimes cooking it in milk makes it even more dreamierpour into waiting bowl stir together and YUMfrozen blueberries will thaw immediately other frozen fruit take out the night beforeAll is well in the world when the day begins with Cream of Wheat :)Peace and Gracem

Since my childhood, I have loved the original Cream of Wheat. My husband kept bringing home the quick cooking kind. I knew something was wrong so I did some research. I found this on Amazon. Right now I am very happy. I have not had a chance to compare the price to boxes in the grocery. When I find out what the grocery charges for this product, I may get uhappy very fast. I paid a hefty price for this cereal!

I used to get this at my local super market. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find this 10 minute version of Cream of Wheat on any store shelves for years. The instant and 2 1/2 minute stuff really sucks so I was thrilled when I found it on Amazon. I was so happy I bought eight boxes (a years supply).I would recommend you buy all you can of this so that it ensures this product will continue to be produced. I know I am.

This product has no unpronounceable additives and is the same stuff I ate as a kid. I'm 70 years old and was sad when I thought they stopped making it. Then I saw it was still available on Amazon and bought a couple cases and have been ordering it ever since. Unlike most food products today, it is a basic grain cereal and nothing more. but it is so good on a cold morning with honey or maple syrup.
