Callista 100% Cotton Sateen Sheet Set 300 Thread Count -King Size, Wrinkle-Free, Fade, Stain Resistant -4 Piece Set -1 Flat Sheet, 1 Fitted Sheet and 2 Pillowcases -Blue

Received the sheets yesterday and washed them today to use. After it's first wash the sheets were covered in pulled threads and in one part torn. They are too thin and can't handle a wash. And this was its very first wash!!

I was skeptical that these sheets were actually 100% cotton when I ordered them, but they are very definitely 100% cotton. I can tell by the feel, and the way they wrinkled after washing. They are also remarkably soft for the listed thread count, I expected them to be a little rougher, but they feel quite nice. The fitted sheet pockets are deep enough for my thick, pillow top mattress, and there is elastic all the way around, not just in the corners. Very nice.That said, they are quite thin. Like, hold-up-to-the-light-see-through thin. Pictured is a pillow case held up the light; the darker area is the top seam, and the lighter part is where you can see a single layer of the fabric. Because of that, I question the accuracy of the thread count claimed (but, as I stated above, they are softer than expected for the thread count, so I don't know), and I also worry about the long term durability of these sheets. My last set of cotton sheets failed after, like, six years, and I doubt I'll get that kind of wear out of these. It's a shame, because they really are very comfortable, especially for use in the summer (I cannot abide synthetic sheets in the heat of summer). Depending on how they wear, I may buy these again.

Sorry to say... I did not like the sheets. They were very thin, had the feel of microfiber, not cotton and were treated with something that smelled just awful. Perhaps the smell would have come out in the wash, but I wasn't about to try when I didn't like anything else about them. Have learned my lesson: I'll buy my sheets from a store where I can touch and smell them before I buy. The one good thing I can say is that Amazon makes returns very easy.

I was hesitant to purchase these - I'm a self admitted sheet snob. I figured for the price they were worth a try. I ordered the "sage" but would say it's more of a subdued granny apple green which actually looks better with our bedroom'sbotanical decor. After they arrived today I immediately inspected them for loose threads, pulls and otherwise sub-par stitching and found that they are perfectly made. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fitted sheet has elastic all the way around to ensure it will stay in place. I immediately washed them in cold water and dried them using my dryer's "cotton" setting and they came out perfect - zero wrinkles and no shrinkage. We have a pillowtop mattress with a 3" featherbed topper and the fitted sheet fit perfectly without a struggle. They are very soft and I have a feeling that they will continue to get softer with each laundering. They are not heavy weight, but also not overly thin --- imo they're the perfect weight, especially if you are hot natured and/or live in a warmer climate. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase, in fact I am getting ready to order another set for our guest bed!

Sheet set was delivered on time and well packaged. Within hours of receiving and after washing/drying, these were on my bed. I traded microfiber sheets with elastic only on corners to these beautiful blue 100% cotton sheets with elastic all around...fitted sheet stays very neat as I toss and turn. In spite of health issues, I have slept better and cooler for the 3 nights these have been on my bed. The sheets laundered with no shrinkage, virtually no loose fibers, and no wrinkling. An added bonus for me was the smell of cotton prior to washing...a big improvement over the chemical smell of my microfiber sheets. Years ago cotton was grown in my state, and in my hometown, there was a cotton gin and a mill where fabric was woven. The smell of cotton is a happy memory for me. Thanks Callista.3/14/19 update:These are the only sheets I have for my full size bed and they have been washed weekly since I received them...that is roughly 76 times (they are washing now). The sheets are a lovely shade of blue and have never faded, shrunk, stretched, pilled, the elastic has not stretched out...and best of all they are so cool and silky to get a good night's rest on. Also, they NEVER had a bad or any kind of odor. Among the best, if not the best, sheets I have purchased in my 75 years.

First I will start with the positive. The fitted sheets fit my 12" thick Queen matress perfectly. The flat sheet however is slightly too narrow. Forget trying to do hospital corners. They also start out nice and soft and lovely, but after the second wash the flat sheet was already covered in little nubs (pilling which the descripton says these sheets are resistant to. Lies!), that make it feel as though you are laying in a bed of gritty sand. I doubt they will last long in my sheet rotation as they are already very thin as it is. If this set was priced at 19.99 for the set I would recommend them, anything else is grossly over priced.
