More color means more fun. The newest Sugar Tip rose of Sharon brings more Foliage interest – bright gold variegation – and a new flower color (lavender) to the line. A bit smaller than the original, Sugar Tip Gold hibiscus shares its same appealing habit and non-invasive blooms.

Sugar Tip Althea
The poor tiny plant! When I got it, I thought it would surely die! It had only a few leaves, and some were yellow. But it has put on new leaves, and it's growing. I hope it lives. It is so tiny: only about 3" tall. Haven't re-potted it yet. Maybe I'll do that today. Getting out of that tiny pot should help.

Hi quality plant at a great price!!
Ordered on a Friday Aug 6th and received it on Monday the 9th. Great service and the plant is turgid and very healthy. Can't wait to see it take off come spring. Can't beat the price either. I lost a bid on eBay for 13.50 plus shipping for the same size plant. Went to Amazon could not believe my good fortune.

Caution-Not as advertised
This product was listed as a Proven Winners plant, but it is not. I am a huge fan of Proven Winners and have purchased dozens of their plants over the years. This twig arrived in a cheep black plastic pot, not a Proven Winners signature white pot. This is the first sign of deception. The leaves started falling off the 6” twig the first week. If this is a PW rose of Sharon (not convinced), then it is propagated and I received a rooted cutting off another plant. Please use caution. PW plants thrive, which is why I buy them. This plant is dying. I wasted my hard earned money. Please don’t waste yours. This review does not even deserve one star. I never leave reviews, but I am just so dissatisfied that I had to warn others.
