I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE!!! I stopped carrying a purse years ago, so you can imagine how my life has been trying to find women's clothing with functional pockets. Seriously, the person who invented fake pockets needs a slap in the face. I like travelling light - no purse, no gym bag - and that was very difficult to accomplish. The side pockets are phenomenal and I put my cell in one, my wallet in the other. My keys fit easily into the zipper pocket (I carry 5 total, one is a very large car key about 3" long, plus my gym key chain card), which is good because they aren't comfortable in the side pockets. Those are designed more for flat items.The positioning of these pockets is perfect for the gym as well. In regular workout pants with pockets, my phone starts slipping out when I'm sitting for weights. These pockets are snug, and not located near any party of my body that bends. I might just buy 5 pairs of these so I can rotate. THANK YOU SO MUCH, AZALE!!! Now go tell the rest of the fashion industry to shape up. I'm obviously not buying from them (workout or jeans) without functional pockets that actually hold an entire object.

I originally bought these to wear under dresses or skirts on a windy day, thinking they would be really short. They're the perfect length! I can wear them by themselves or under something. They don't ride up and stay put. Plus the pockets are nice!

The construction has an issue. The waist band was not sewn with proper elastic stitching to allow for enough stretch. Pulling them up over my hips is actually breaking the stitches on the waist line. They are not tight when on, so it is not that they are to small, its just a bad stitch decision. If you have lady hips and a smaller waist, I would find another brand. It is sad in that they won’t last and this could have been a wonderful product.

Love the comfort and the length of these. Obviously the pockets are a huge sell too...the zipper in the back also a great feature. Not great for spin class as they rode up throughout the class. But overall great and flattering fit for other classes such as kickboxing and body pump.

I’ve had 2 babies and while I’ve lost all the weight and then some, I still have the pooch and a little extra thigh. However, I’m still a 26 in jeans and a size Small in Nike leggings and shorts. The size Small in these shorts left sagging fabric all over the place. At your pelvic bone, on your hips. I wouldn’t go as far as saying they run large, they’re just not flattering. Despite a thick quality fabric, they’re not well made in terms of fitting a real human (average) body. For a size Small to sag in these places is a workmanship issue. And it definitely isn’t because I’m in such great shape and needed a smaller size because these short fit great In other areas. Need to return.

It's really nice that these shorts have pockets (are you listening, sports gear designers??) but they still ride up and we end up looking like we're wearing bunched up underwear. Fix this. Next time you design clothes, have real athletes do their sport of choice wearing it. Otherwise, it's practically useless.

I ordered 4 different shorts to wear for exercising and after 6 months, these are my favorites. The pockets were an important feature for me, and these are a good size and hold my phone well so I don't have to worry about losing it. The shorts are comfortable and they dry quickly. I bought both the gray and the black. The two fabrics are different and I like the gray fabric better. They are both 12% lycra, but the black is 88% polyester while the gray is a combination of nylon and polyester. It seems like the gray shorts stay in place better and also dry faster. I just ordered a second pair.
