Hello we have the 4 way valve with the (sv08-40) part number it is for a western is this item the same?our books don't show the additional #;s 0-n-00

It is the same. The 0's just state that there is not additional manifold or solenoid included and the N states it has nitrile seals.

Is there a replacement for 2-position,4-way, solenoid operated cartridge spool valve, dsv2-1004co-n ?

This is a 4-way, 2-position, Direct-acting, 3 GPM valve. It fits VC08-4 Cavity and uses Size 08 (1/2″ Hole) Solenoids.

Will a sv08-45 be the same as a sv08-41?

No. When de-energized, the SV08-40 allows flow between 3 and 2, and between 4 and 1. When energized, the cartridge’s spool shifts to open flow between 3 and 4, and between 2 and 1. When de-energized, the SV08-41 blocks flow to all ports. When energized, the spool shifts to open flow between 3 and 4, and between 2 and 1. When de-energized, the SV08-45 blocks flow to all ports. When energized, the spool shifts to open flow between 3 and 2, and between 4 and 1.

Got western plow running again

I have a western Unimount snow plow that quit working. After a bit of some trouble shooting I found the 4 way valve was bad. I replaced it with this one and it worked good got the plow working.
