Great for cleaning cat box and kettles etc with scale brings up like new

Easy to use quick and effective

This does what it promises & works out good value for money. But, the “jar” it it packaged in needs re-thinking. The opening is way too narrow to get a teaspoon (the dosage is in teaspoons) in & if you try to pour the granules come out too fast & you waste content. I’ve decanted into a glass jar & managed to peel off the label from the plastic. This is the only reason I haven’t rated 5 star.

I used Calsolve a long time ago when it was sold in a larger container and it was excellent. It was then changed to a supposedly more concentrated powder but it was not nearly as efficient. I haven't used it for a long time as it seemed to disappear from Amazon's listing but because I could not buy the liquid descaler that I have preferred and Calsolve was back, I decided to try it again. Even more disappointing than before. It is now so weak that I had to descale my kettle twice, using much higher quantities than instructed, this makes it a very expensive product, I won't be buying it again.

Really works, I live in a really hard water area and found other brands expensive and quick to run out. Always having to buy more and never felt like the limescale really went. This product has shifted it after following the easy steps, and there’s loads left for when I need to use it again- in about a week. There is no vile smell, the product is odourles. Quick and easy to use. If you suffer with limescale like we do this is the end to your probs. Excellent value for money, definitely be a cleaning cupboard essential from now on. Seller contacted me back straight away too when package was delayed due to post during Coronavirus and refunded me as it took so long to get to me.

It works perfectly and effectively every time. I use half a tea spoon, boil the kettle and leave it this way for another half an hour. It leaves the kettle like new without any limescale. Highly recommend.
